Well this is a topic I have read about a lot and there have been some very good views. I like the one I have read about how the movie Arwen is a lot like Luthien. It is true the movie Arwen does have a lot of the qualities portrayed in her foremother. If you read the about page you know how I feel about the movie and book Arwen. I think they are both great characters but yet they are very different and I feel even though I love movie Arwen that book Arwen was left out and not given full credit for who she really was. I understand the fact that girls are not looking for a heroine who sits waiting for her one true love and does not go charging into battle but I think that book Arwen should have been played out a little more in the movies. Well thats my opinion whats yours?
