I gave thought to the idea that over the many years that we have existed, maybe man has been so taught to ignore the idea that God acts in all we do, that in fact, we may not even notice that God is in EVERYTHING we do. There is nothing too small in our lives for God to be a part of it.
I also thought about the fact that there are more people than not in this world that would consider at least once that my beliefs are fanatical rambling.
I say that because at some point the idea presented itself to ME.
The idea that this world has had a veil pulled over it's eyes, so that we may not see the truth, for the facts that cover it up. God is lost in the idea that He is more of a fairy tale than a creator, and the world is so logical that the mere thought of something unordinary happening in His word MUST be figured out by modern logic, and explained by probable events.
Why?
I missed the part where it was impossible for the Lord that created the universe itself to flood the world, or create a garden, or become a man.
I spoke to an old friend today for the first time in a while.
We talked for quite a while, about a number of things, and one thing became apparent.
God teaches us something in everything we do on this planet. If we look back on something as a mistake later, it's because we've learned something from it.
In our rough past, I finally realized, and was also told for their part, that God had taught something during it and in the aftermath of what happened. I also saw that loving a neighbor can heal many wounds if it's acknowledged when it should be. God, in His power, can heal the largest and most gaping wounds without so much as thinking twice, and that's a pretty incredible thing, if we take the time to notice it.
That God can take something that once seemed so broken and mend it and make it useful, if even for one night in time, to make things better in the world, is something beyond my ability to tell.
How can we ever doubt that this God has the ability to change our lives? How can we ever think that in all His power, He can't defy logic or science to make a point to us? Is it such a stretch to think that He who created all things living and non-living could for a moment in time, defy all things we view as making sense?
