Just when you think that your niche has been rediscovered, God can come along and show you something that is completely different from what you're doing. Many times it will amaze you beyond belief.

I have been worried so much about a possible new job, and had almost forgotten about it. The past few days a friend has been mentioning a new job she got, and that I should try to get a job there. It's a day care and today I found out some more details that just completely floored me.

The job itself is at a church, and apparently, the lady that runs it is a very Christian lady, which is in itself what I wanted out of a new job. The place closes at 6:30 PM, which means I'll have time to study, or have a life in general. Like I've said before, the pay isn't important, but in an interesting twist, the pay is better than my current job, with the opportunity for much better.

I am completely baffled how God works. This is not a bad thing. That this came along at this exact time when I least expect it is an amazing thing to me, and it never ceases. God shows up just when we think life is becoming complacent again, and He shows us something new and exciting, if we're willing to see it that way. Astounding.

Is the worth really in the size of things? Is the size of our congregation really representative of how much God loves it? Is the length of the prayer a sign of how devoted we are? Where does size and shape become irrelevant, if it's ever relevant to begin with?
