So I was thinking today about how simple faith is, comparing it to the world and the terms the world puts on our life.

I find it kind of funny how the last one is the only one without a catch, but is still the one looked at least by many people. All of the others play a huge part of our lives, subconsciously or otherwise. But to have faith in God and to accept the free blessings and beauty that comes with it seems to confound us to the point where we LOOK for the catch.

On a different note, I talked to one of the friends that I feel God has been after tonight, and they told me some exciting news, that they have truly seen God acting in their life, and He showed up just when they needed Him to, and He showed them His presence just when they were thinking about making a huge mistake. I later asked if this meant they and God were on speaking terms again, and they told me about a notebook they've started to keep track of this, and I could take it however I wanted to. I take it with alot of excitement for them, and another reason I have no reason to ever doubt God's power and love for us.

How caught on our own lives are we? Are we so caught up in our plans for ourselves that we would doubt the ability God has to make our lives infinitely better, due to how we view our perfect life? Do we think we are smarter than God when it comes to living our lives?
