As a follow up to the potter job, I think that they were secret keepers in the department of mysteries, thats why harry doesnt know about their jobs. And maybe no one knew... Maybe they didnt tell anyone.

The Prophecy/Neville

The prophecy said "none will come after" when referring to who could kill Voldemort. Is it possilbe that someone "came before"? If Neville is older than Harry, it's possible it could be him. After all, he could be having some of those visions. He was the one who quickly went for help during the Eye of the Snake when no one else had any idea what was going on.

You know that the Potters had a fair bit of gold stashed away but we never hear about how they got it. These jobs have never been mentioned and from what we know about Rowling is that she planned the whole 7 book storyline before even writing the first book, she always steers clear of important facts for later plots. Now the obvious guess is Auror's, but why wouldn't anyone ever tell him. I would like to hear your guess's.

Remember in ootp when the OWL examiners first walked into hogwarts during breakfast. They asked if there was any word from Dumbledore and Umbridge said that she was assured that he would be caught any day now. The examiner said that she herself had examined him in Charms and Transfiguration for his NEWTs. Now we know that Dumbledore is old, so the witch who did the examining of a seventh year Dumbledore must be really old. Now to my theory, what happened to all of Harry Grandparents, all of the people that are seen in the mirror of erised. We now know that wizards/witches live a long time, so why would James's parents be dead, obviously they must not have died of natural causes, same with the rest of Harrys relatives. I think that this will be revealed in the rest of the books.

We all know that the avada kedavera curse kills you without physical harm. Now i think that Harry will go to Godrics Hollow, visit his parents graves, which i assume are in Godrics Hollow. This will help Harry decide on what he should do concerning Voldemort.
