Harry Potter RUINED
I have loved the books of Harry Potter since I first
read them in 1998 before it was first popular. I like
to think of myself as a "first reader" of JK Rowlings
books and the person who recommended them to my school
before the name of Potter was known. I recently
stumbled upon the "World Wide Web world of Harry
Potter" earlier this year. After looking at many
sites I am greatly troubled. Why did JK Rowling have
to send this to theatres and sell the rights.
Couldn't Harry Potter rest in the imagination of both
young and old? When I look at the trailers of Harry
Potter is hurts to see my image destroyed by WB. What
once was a great book and made kids have a fun read
will be in theatres. What I am trying to say is that
the movie is destroying all that JK made in a book,
Harry Potter belongs in the imagination of everyone
not in theatres.

What? Read the book? HA!
That is exactly what is going to happen after the month November rolls in. There will be a Harry Potter everything, from movies and cartoons to underware. All these products will take away from the magic that makes Harry Potter who he is. They strip the children who read these stories, of the imagination required to fully enjoy these books. Who needs to read the 5th book when you can live it in a videogame?

I disagree!
the video game follows the first book of the series. I don't think the merchandise will take away the magic of the books because all Potter fans will want replicas of their hero

I think that Harry Potter is a book. A book that can make u beleive u are somthing ur not. a book that gets u out of a moder world of pressure. With all the hype that all ends.

Harry Potter is the best!
The Harry Potter books are the BEST books in the world!! And I am there GREATEST fan!! I think they make you want to be witch or wizard even if it's impossible you still believe you can!

I think that Harry Potter should be a book and a movie, but nothing else. All of this talk about video games, trading cards, etc. etc., is just nonsense. I mean, they have nothing at all to do with the books. I am for the movie because it is based on the events in the book, not the characters or anything else like that.(Jenna)

I have looked all over the web to find harry potter sites, and luckily i have found some great ones, but soem people don't even like the books and they just make it so people will come to the site, it just thing that is wrong
