A Page of Other Stuff

Here you will find a bit more about who I am.

I have done a lot of things in my life so far. I have worked as an electronic techie, been a hi-fi salesguy, photographed bands and weddings, cooked in almost every concievable situation, written a cookbook, waited on a few hundred tables, and washed a shitload of dishes.

I have a masters degree in cultural anthropology and also studied history at university. I have studied massage in Thailand and taught English in Japan. I play a bit of guitar and a few years ago I started taking any kind of dance class I could find (including Indian Katak dance in India). I love dancing...

I also love building things by hand. The last thing I built was a custom backlit menu for my Folk Festival booth. It goes through about 40 different light sequences in fifteen minutes and looks like liquid tie-die. It's great!

I also love eating (of course), watching the Simpsons, reading Mary Renault's historical novels, and going garage-saleing (that's where I bought the nifty switch for my light-menu). I often go camping, and love cooking over a campfire

And I have travelled to many parts of the world. And hope to continue doing so...
