Learners

The Perfect Home is a culminating activity designed to further student understanding of Architectural design as well as to instill the need to take our environment into consideration when planning a home.  This lesson gives the opportunity for students to develop an awareness of energy savings appliances and methods their families can use.

I designed this lesson for my 10th-12th grade Architectural Design course.  Many of the activities used in my WEBQUEST can be taken to be used in full or in part in other subject areas.

The text book I use in class is the 1995 edition of Architecture-residential drawing and design by Clois E. Kicklighter. We will cover the information from the first sixteen chapters in full or in part before the students embark on this WEBQUEST. The text book provides supplemental information for my students as they journey through the world of "Architectural Design."
