I don't usually talk about sport on this blog, but then Martin does all the time, and since he's my n.1 inspiration when it comes to writing, well.. I can't go wrong. What *did* go wrong was Federer, who lost for the second time in two weeks after some 8 months of straight victories. Twice to Canas. Like.. what the hell? I trust he'll get himself back on his feet to smash Nadal at Roland Garros.

Where work is concerned, I just got back into full throttle after two weeks of examination hell. They went so-so, but I don't really care anymore since I'm riding on this Future Fire wave mentioned in the last entry. The editor will be getting back to me with a set of detailed changes. Meanwhile, I've already cut into Castalsara with a whole series of edits, and a better creature has come of it.

The new metal in the forge is "Candle Wax", mentioned already in one of my rants. Nothing too long, partly experimental, grim fantasy. Some two thousand words into the making. It's turning out interesting in terms of story, but I'm gonna have to take a tighter grip of the steering wheel with regards to prose. Tends to get a bit fluffy when fantasy is concerned...

Either way, what matters is to write write write! Another day done, off to the next!
