So clepsydra is finished and polished. Turned into an interesting piece, a little random (but that's what it was meant to be since the beginning) with the more recent storyteller narrative. I'm now going back to the stream-of-conscious a la "One of a Kind", to deal with the new story and universe of "Alien Gods" (working title).

I find it a very appealing milieu in that it fits the definition of fantasy and science fiction, both of them, without a clear distinction. The kind of slipstream that I enjoy, with heavy themes of religion, relationship and contrast of cultures.

A universe filled with air. Great temples with silver sails flying through vast emptiness, where casts of priests pass on the word of patron deities, and all leads up to the avatar queen. An alien force which despairs at the leaving of their own gods. A woman who can show the way to a new religion, become an avatar herself. The priests in plate mail, leading the battles across temple-ships in the vastness of space.
