Just barely managed to avoid a month gap between entries. When I started out this blog (and reading the blogs of other authors) I wondered why they did not post every two days or so. The answer is that time is a snake!

This month has brought by only shy of twenty thousand words, which is less than I'd like, but I realize that re-engineering the story will suck away at the word count. The result is a better story. Just yesterday I had eureka while working on an Eilam chapter. Eilam has been the most difficult character to iron out, also because he was the last to be inserted into a plotline already formed.

The ending still needs the cherry on the cake, but I'm confident with all the bits floating around that it'll be worthy of the rest of it. (Now I hope the rest of it turns out good!)
