It was one of those weeks when the low-cost airline Ryanair had their 1-pence promotion. I got a weekend trip to Brussels Belgium with 25 pounds... with a day trip in the middle attending the 4th European Naginata Championships in Paris (uhmm the train ticket costed more than the flight...).


They had a last minute change of venue(!). Despite having ZERO French and no streetmap, I managed to ask for directions from a man passing by (phew - he speaks some English). Under the rain I arrived around mid-day, only to miss their Engi and Rhythmic Naginata session.
