Wing Commander - Senshi Squadron Part I: Thrakhath's Wrath Information and Profiles Note: Ages, ranks, and carrier assignments are as of Stardate 2664.128 Lt. Tsukino Usagi Age: 19 Callsign: Moonhopper Preferred fighter: F-44G Rapier Medium Fighter Homeworld: Japan, Earth A clumsy, crybaby, ditzy self-doubter during her years in the Confederation Academy. A very unlikely candidate for a pilot at first glance, but her flying performance proved otherwise. Despite her lack of motivation for academics, she nonetheless displayed piloting prowess in the Confederation Academy. After graduation in 2662 she was immediately sent into tour of duty aboard the TCS Kyoto, a highly decorated carrier with numerous success stories during the Vega campaign, including a joint mission with the TCS Tiger's Claw against a Kilrathi Fralthi cruiser which lead to the discovery of a Kilrathi Starbase. Beyond expectations, Lt. Tsukino made a name for herself scoring numerous victories in her sorties against the Kilrathi. One fateful mission however shattered her life. When the Kyoto was on a campaign mission in the Niven system, Lt. Tsukino was flying patrol with her wingman, when she received a mayday from the Kyoto before the transmission was cut off. She and her wingman flew back, only to discover in their horror that the Kyoto had been destroyed in a surprise attack. The circumstances were eerily similar to the Tiger's Claw incident involving Capt. Christopher "Maverick" Blair 8 years ago in the K'tithrak Mang system. While the investigation was conducted, the evidence was too vague to place charges on Lt. Tsukino. In the end Confederation Command decided to assign her to the Caernarvon station in InSystem Security with Capt. Blair, who eventually became her friend and mentor. She misses her brother Shingo, whom she has not been in contact with since her went into service for the Confederation. She is longing to fly again, and to be reunited with her love, Maj. Chiba Mamoru. Additonal note: her history of being a klutzy crybaby in the Academy combined with the Kyoto tragedy earned her the monkier the "Crying Klutz of Niven", much to her chargin (in a similar fashion to Capt. Blair who became infamously known as the "Coward of K'tithrak Mang" following the Tiger's Claw disaster). Lt. Hino Rei Age: 19 Callsign: Starfire Preferred fighter: F-44G Rapier Medium Fighter Homeworld: Japan, Earth A highly skilled pilot with a short temper. Known to act before thinking, but still a capable pilot. Graduated at the same time as Lt. Tsukino and is best friends with her on board the TCS Kyoto being her most frequent wingman in many sorties, but they have not seen each other since the destruction of the Kyoto and her subsequent transfer to the TCS Concordia. Takes after her mentor, Capt. Ian "Hunter" St. John, whom she took her rash behavior from. Close friends with fellow Japanese pilot Lt. Tanaka "Spirit" Mariko. Lt. Mizuno Ami Age: 19 Callsign: Frostbite Preferred Fighter: F-57A Sabre Heavy Fighter Homeworld: Japan, Earth A top of the class graduate of the Academy, Lt. Mizuno is a model student and a top notch pilot. Thinks before she acts, and an excellent strategist. She received special training from her mentor, ace pilot Maj. Michael "Iceman" Casey, after her performance ratings were found impressive. Currently assigned to the TCS Concordia, at times sidelining with intelligence operations, where she works alongside her friend Lt. Ross "Downtown" Baldwin. Lt. Aino Minako Age: 19 Callsign: Pureheart Preferred fighter: F-54C Epee Light Fighter Homeworld: Japan, Earth A bubbly, boy crazy pilot who flys with her heart. Eager to score a kill against a Kilrathi, or a date with a good looking Terran, with the possible exception of her mentor, Maj. Todd "Maniac" Marshall, whom she heavily detests, and whom, many theorize, she earned her flirtiness and flying style from, much to her chargin. Currently assigned to the TCS Yokohama, where she met Lt. Tsukino and Lt. Hino after the destruction of the Kyoto. Lt. Kino Makoto Age: 19 Callsign: Thunderhead Preferred fighter: A-17D Broadsword Torpedo Bomber Homeworld: Japan, Earth A born fighter, both in the cockpit, and up close and personal. She's tall, and a master of martial arts. While not so hot tempered, she's said to pick fights with the bad guys, especially those who hurt others, though such incidents have often gotten her in trouble in the academy, and occasionally, in the brigg while in service. Takes after her mentor, Capt. Joseph "Knight" Khumalo. Friends with Maj. Etienne "Doomsday" Montclair, whom she consistently teases and tries to bring out of his pessimistic attitude. Currently assigned to the TCS Concordia. Capt. Ten'ou Haruka Age: 21 Callsign: Hurricane Preferred fighter: A-17D Broadsword Torpedo Bomber Homeworld: Japan, Earth An excellent pilot, though one who tends to act before thinking, and tends to take action into her own hands rather than work with her fellow pilots as a team. Has a boyish personality, and has a lesbian relationship with another female pilot. Idolizes her late mentor, Maj. Chen "Bossman" Kien, whom she inherited her flying skills from. Friends with Capt. Dirk "Stingray" Wright, who shares her views on just about everything. Currently assigned to the TCS Concordia. Capt. Kaiou Michiru Age: 21 Callsign: SeaStar Preferred fighter: F-54C Epee Light Fighter Homeworld: Japan, Earth A pilot who flys with grace and finesse more often than skill and prowess. A thinker, and very calm and level headed. Is in a lesbian relationship with Capt. Ten'ou. Has a special talent for music, which she gained, along with her flying skills, from her mentor, Maj. Zach "Jazz" Colson. Currently assigned to the TCS Concordia. Capt. Meiou Setsuna Age: 21 Callsign: Ghostrider Preferred fighter: F-57A Sabre Heavy Fighter Homeworld: Japan, Earth A very mysterious pilot who keeps mostly to herself. Flys by the book. Reveals little of herself to others, other than Col. Jeanette "Angel" Devereaux, her mentor and whom she got her flying style and discipline from. Currently assigned to the TCS Concordia. 2nd Lt. Tomoe Hotaru Age: 17 Callsign: Firefly Preferred fighter: F-54C Epee Light Fighter Homeworld: Japan, Earth A fresh graduate from the academy who is better skilled than she seems. One who should not be underestimated. Keeps to herself most of the time. Sometimes assists in Medic operations. Takes after her mentor, fellow Japanese pilot Lt. Tanaka "Spirit" Mariko. Was assigned to the TCS Concordia immediately upon graduation from the Academy. Maj. Chiba Mamoru Age: 22 Callsign: Rosebud Preferred fighter: A-17D Broadsword Torpedo Bomber Homeworld: Japan, Earth A highly respected pilot of the Confederation. After 5 years of active duty was given his own squadron. Fell in love with Lt. Tsukino while on tour of duty on board the TCS Kyoto, where his squadron was based. Currently in Covert Operations with Col. James "Palladin" Taggart, where he was assigned following the destruction of the Kyoto. He waits for the day when he gets to see Lt. Tsukino again. Maj./First Fang Luna Nar Mau Age: 28 Callsign: Black Jaguar Preferred Fighter: F-44G Rapier Medium Fighter Homeworld: Mau Lt. Col./Shintahr Artemis Nar Mau Age: 28 Callsign: White Lion Preferred fighter: F-57A Sabre Heavy Fighter Homeworld: Mau Luna and Artemis are Kilrathi pilots from Mau, a planet belonging to one of the Kilrathi Colonies, and one of two Kilrathi planets that rebelled against the Kilrathi Empire during the war (the other was Ghorah Khar). Luna was originally a Kilrathi Priestess serving the Kilrathi War God Sivar, before the planet rebelled, after which she joined its military forces and became a top notch fighter pilot. Artemis served in the war under the command of Col./Kal Shintahr Ralgha "Hobbes" Nar Hhallas, and was among those who, along with Hobbes, defected to the Confederation during the Firekka campaign. Luna is based on the Confederation carrier TCS Concordia, working with Hobbes, while Artemis is currently on the TCS Yokohama with Lt. Aino Minako. Kilrathi Ace Pilots Lt. Col./Shintahr Niyakrah "Tin Claw" Nar Kiranka Age: 28 Preferred fighter: Jalkehi Heavy Fighter Homeworld: Kiranka Niyakrah is an experienced fighter pilot of the Kilrathi Empire, and has earned the nickname "Tin Claw" from the Confederation. Very reliable and clear thinking, he is relentless in pursuing his targets, especially Terran Capital Ships. Maj./First Fang Nezurahk "Steel Mouser" Nar Caxki Age: 27 Preferred fighter: Drakhri Medium Fighter Homeworld: Caxki A very cocky fighter who taunts his enemies a lot and appears fearless. Will go out of his way to ensure his mission objective is achieved and will usually ignore the enemies' defenders. Earned the nickname "Steel Mouser" from the Confederation due to his rumored hobby of shooting ejected pilots, which he treats like mice (not unlike a previous Kilrathi pilot, Dakhath "Deathstroke" Nar Sihkag, who had a similar hobby, before he was killed in action during the Vega Campaign as a result of being shot down by Capt. Blair when they met in combat). Col./Kal Shintahr Kaolarah "Lead Fang" Nar Som'mers Age: 33 Preferred Fighter: Grikath Torpedo Bomber Homeworld: Som'mers A highborn arrogant Kilrathi with excellent marksman skills. Comes from a distinguished clan of top notch fighters. Excels in any kind of ship, but prefers one with the most firepower at his disposal. Despite his brash attitude and his tendency to brag about while in combat, he is almost as good as he thinks he is. Earned the name "Lead Fang" for his numerous kills, which largely consist of Captial Ships. Maj./1st Fang Takamah "Tiger's Eye" Nar Kur'u'tak Age: 26 Preferred Fighter: Sartha Light Fighter Homeworld: Kur'u'tak One of the best fighters in his assigned patrol space. While his choice of fighter may not seem like much, he always flys with a squadron and is a good wingleader. He also compensates lack of armour and firepower with flying prowess. Earned the name "Tiger's Eye" for his reflexes and good judgement, so great that he seems to have eyes at the back of his head. Col./Kal Shintahr Kazrath Nar Kilrah Age: Unknown Preferred Fighter: Sartha Light Fighter Homeworld: Kilrah Cousin of Prince Thrakath and second in command when both are in the field commanding the Kilrathi Fleet. Is qualified to be the heir to the throne of the Kilrathi Empire should Thrakhath not fullfil the role. Sees a lot of combat, in fact a lot more than Thrakhath much to the Prince's chargin. Prince Thrakhath Age: Unknown Preferred Fighter: Unknown, custom built Homeworld: Kilrah Currently heir to the throne of the Kilrathi Empire, he is the grandson of the reigning Emperor. He spends most of his time as commanding officer of the main commanding capital ships of the Kilrati Fleet and rarely flys. When he does fly, he undoubtedly means business. His fighter is unknown to the Confederation due to lack of sightings, but rumors indicate that his fighter is custom built, and is far superior to any fighter in the war, Terran or Kilrathi. He holds a major grudge against Capt. Blair, who led a squadron that destroyed the Kilrathi Dreadnought Sivar during the Goddard Campaign, an incident which subsequently lead to the apprehension and execution of Thrakhath's father. Other information The Drakhi An elite fighter squadron of the Kilrathi Empire consisting of the best Kilrathi fighter pilots in the Empire. Their main function is for the defense of the home planet Kilrah and any Kilrathi Capital Ship with a Kilrathi dignitary on board such as members of the Royal Family. In special cases they are deployed to the front lines, and when they meet opposition, announce their presence with the line "The Imperial Guard will kill you!" One of their appearances during the Goddard campaign was the cause of the death of Terran pilot Maj. Chen "Bossman" Kien, who underestimated them when he engaged them. They usually fly Sartha Light Fighters, and have a habit of taunting their enemies every 5 seconds, or more frequently when they feel they are losing the upper hand in a fight (which rarely happens). The Mandarin Society An underground group consisting of Terrans who have defected to the Kilrathi Empire, being promised high positions in the Empire in exchange for serving the Kiltrathi. Some of them work undercover pretending to be serving the Terran Confederation and perform acts such as sabotage, theft of classifed information, and assasination. Their base of operation is not known to the Confederation as of date, and their leader is a mysterious figure known only by the name Jadeite. It is rumored that Jadeite himeself was involved in the destruction of the Tiger's Claw and the Kyoto.
