THOMAS HARRISON - 1842 ============================================================================================= Copyright (c)2001 Carol Whyte Auckland New Zealand Captain EM Smith Surgeon Dr Thomas Renwick ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THOMAS HARRISON, 400 ton barque, sailed from Gravesend on 26 May 1842, arriving in Nelson on 25 Oct 1842. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Due to Dr Renwick's fastidious nature there were only two deaths on board this vessel, both of whom were children. The barque was delayed by calm seas, but the Examiner had nothing but praise for the condition of the ship and passengers on their arrival at Nelson.
