ALLTIME TEAM RANKINGS
From Best to Worst

The Formula for Determining the Best Team: There are endless methods to determine the best team. This is only one of them. We could probably even figure out a formula to make one of Jessie's teams #1 (although we might need NASA to help us)! I didn't want to use just the points scored to determine the best team since this doesn't reward consistency or performance during the playoffs. Also, some rules have changed over the years and NFL scoring can vary from year-to-year. I didn't want to use just wins or championships since the best team of each year usually doesn't win the trophy.
      20% - Total points scored
      15% - Total points scored adjusted to league average since inception because current rules allow for more scoring.
      15% - Won / Loss Record (Winning Percentage).
      20% - The final rankings for each year.
      15% - Record if team had played every other team every week to factor in head-to-head matchups across years.
      15% - Number of games scoring in the top half of the league each week to reward consistency and doing well even when NFL scoring is down for a week or
                 for instances when owners score well but still lose.
