Just 2 weeks in and CM Punk has already made his mark by beating Chris Jericho and now the Primetime Champion Brock Lesnar. But what lies ahead is Anarchy Rulz where CM Punk will get the match he wanted against Rick Steiner, but Rick Steiner will also get what he wants in the stipulation of a Dog Collar Match. Can CM Punk prove Straight-Edge better 3 weeks in a row?.. And How will this new stipulation affect the match? [Promo] | Anarchy Rulz | |Date|
September 25th, 2004 | The scene opens up showing the famous Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. | | Within a brief second CM Punk appears in front of it, turning his head to the camera before he speaks. | |Straight-Edge| CM Punk: Anarchy Rulz.. The absence of any political order or authority.. That's not just the theme for this Sunday's wMe pay per view, it's where this nation stands in relation to sex, drugs and alcohol. I stand here in a place of United States history in front of a symbol for what this country is supposed to represent.. The Liberty Bell that represents the liberty that this nation was founded on. Liberty is an important thing no doubt, but it can't stand alone, this country was also built on religion, a religion that forbids the use of drugs, promiscuous sex and abuse of alcohol which corrupt the nation on a daily basis. Yes, the laws that the government has created limit the use of some drugs, and even forbid the use of others, but the people of the law don't act on the laws, therefore the use of all drugs and alcohol has become limitless.Thousands of Americans smoke marijuana, a drug that is illegal to possess by law in this country, and they do it on a daily basis and get away with it. And what happens to those who are caught?.. A simple fine or a few nights in jail, all that does is urges them to do it more to see if they can outsmart the law. The use of illegal drugs in this country is endless, but the justice for it is not. Crack, Cocaine, Heroin and other Narcotics, despite being illegal there are hundreds of people doing them this very instant, and what is the United States law enforcement doing about it?.. Absolutely nothing.. Than there's that which is considered legal. Alcohol for example, which is looked at in America as a standard. All the kids talk about is how they can't wait till they're 21 so they can legally drink it. It's become the normal thing to do to go out to a bar and get hammered every night. Alcohol has become a natural part of the american society, and what has the United States government done about it?.. They've promoted it, they've used it as a way to make more money for themselves. And they do it with knowledge that alcohol destroys families, knowing that it destroys lives. A large number of deaths each year are the cause of what?.. Drinking and driving, it's considered illegal, if you get caught it does have it's penalties, but what are they doing to prevent it?.. Not a damn thing. Cigarettes and other Tobacco products are no different, despite the fact that they kill thousands of people on a daily basis, they are still looked at as "the cool thing to do". So what?.. The government limits the use of Cigarette ads?.. All that does it makes it more defying which is what America seems to be all about. Turn on your television and what do you see?. Programming that promotes the use of Drugs, Sex, and Alcohol.. The government has a standard to what can and can't be aired, yet drugs, sex, and alcohol is all you seem to see, even in commercials. Hell, 25% of commercials are promoting beer or a pill that can make you better in the sack.. Lack of enforcement has set this country's standards around drugs, illegal or not.. Everywhere you look there's a new drug out there that can change you life, help you sleep better, take away your pain, control your bladder. Can't people do anything for themselves?.. The United States government certainly doesn't seem to think so. And it's not just America, it's become the rest of the worlds standard too. There is an absence of order when relating to drugs in all countries and it sickens me to think that our government as well as any other government in the world could really give a damn about the control over drugs, sex and alcohol. Take a look at the liberty bell, a sure monument of American liberty, and the thing that stands out the most about it is the crack down the center of the bell. Now there are many given reasons and explanations to how that crack got there and what it represents, but in my eyes they're all wrong. This bell represents our nation's government and that crack represents the break in our nation's government. The break that allows drug abusers to get away with what they do, that allows alcohol and cigarettes to be viewed as a good thing to do, that truly identifys what is wrong with America. Now if you look out this window behind me you can see Independence Hall, another place of American history, and a place where the Declaration of Independence was signed by the Pennsylvania party. And in that Declaration of Independence the words law and justice were repeated many times, yet when it comes to true government and drugs, sex, and alcohol there seems to be neither law or justice. At a period of time that same buildings basement also served as something else, Philadelphia's City Dog Pound, which leads me to my opponent Rick Steiner who I face at wMe Anarchy Rulz this coming Sunday. Rick Steiner is a problem, not just to wMe, but to America and to the rest of the world, because Rick Steiner is exactly what we don't need, a drug abuser. Sure he is just one of the millions and millions of them, but he is one that I can challenge, he is one that I can beat the hell out of, he is one that I have the opportunity to face this Sunday in an opportunity I have to prove a point to the world, which is exactly what I'm going to do. You see I can't change the United States government and how they go about dealing with sex, drugs and alcohol but I can change wMe, by continuing my impact, and by further proving that the Straight-Edge way, is the better way. Because in reality, wMe is just like the US. government with no control over the ways of sex, drugs and alcohol and I'm here to stop that. If our government were Straight-Edge we wouldn't face a lot of the problems we face in society today. We wouldn't live on terms of Anarchy Rulz. But our government isn't Straight-Edge, nor is wMe and that's why problems like Rick Steiner come about. So this Sunday at Anarchy Rulz I will take one step in ending the anarchy that both our nation and the wMe live by. I will take on yet another problem with society today in Rick Steiner, and I will show you the world why I'm.. | CM Punk walks out of the cameras sight as the scene fades to black | |
