A Celebration of Atkin Schooners:

Coot: Auxiliary Skipjack Schooner

While still a small schooner at 27’2”, this is a design that breathes “passage-maker”.  This is truly a yacht design, with her counter stern and sweeping lines, she looks less a workboat than “Junior” and “Florence”, and more like a very capable cruising yacht.  With an offset one-lunger engine and a very well-designed cabin, including a real galley, she just looks better able to keep you comfortable over a lengthy coast-wise cruise.

I apologize for the lack of a sail plan.  I know it is in my files somewhere, I just don’t know where.  As soon as I find it, or someone sends me one, I’ll put it up.
