Heart n Soul Life Ministries' Tribute To Our Veterans: |
Joshuas Generation |

This message is dedicated to sharing heart-felt love and admiration and prayer support to the veterans, Heart n Soul Life Ministries's Veteran's Outreach: JOSHUAS GENERATION, as well as God-given words of knowledge to encourage, lift up and restore all that has been lost to them, mind, soul and body. This name was given to me to represent the divine tearing down of walls, barriers, strongholds in life, especially the lives of our veteran's active or non-active - only Jesus can completely restore what life and war takes away from our soldiers. Sacrificed/Sacrifice 5/29/00 ETM's Memorial Day Message When I think of these precious men & women who have fought to keep freedom alive, my thoughts fall & focus on the words 'Sacrificed/Sacrifice'. On this Memorial Day and any day, I pray we take our honoring our VETS seriously & remember with our gratitude & thanks throughout the year. Let's look at what they've done for us through the meaning of 'sacrificed/sacrifice'. Who better can understand what Jesus Christ did for us than the VETS? We must realize that if they had not been willing to sacrifice everything for us, many of us would not be here, NOR would any of us have the freedoms that we do; freedom to worship our Lord & Savior for sure. Their sacrifices gave us a freedom to live out from under dictatorship & so much more. These men & women gave their lives for so many people that they didn't know NOR will ever know, BUT it meant so much to keep America free, that they were willing to FIGHT for our country. When the call came, they were ready to make a stand, ready to fight for our country at any cost. Can you imagine what that takes to prepare for war? They have to be trained to protect at all cost, including having to take lives of those that threaten them & us. That has to be mentally gruelling in itself. They have seen their own die horrible deaths, not being able to help them, they had to continue on - the loudness of the gunfires and weapons used to protect would play back in their heads over and over and still do for so many. We can't imagine what they have gone thru to save so many from destruction. I know that many would rather not have had to go to war, BUT Jesus would like to have passed the cup on the cross up, BUT he knew that it was the plan of salvation of his Father to go to the cross for us, each of us. Take a real good look at the struggle at Gethsemene, he was sweating drops of blood, but he knew each of us from before each of us were born, he did this for us & has given each of us victory through His Sacrifice when we accept Him as our Lord & Savior. Jesus said that the greatest thing we could ever do for one another is to love one another so much that we would be willing to lay down our lives for our brothers & sisters. Most of us are not faced with actually having to do this in our lives, we try to live as Christlike as we can with His help & love all that He puts in our path & to pray for whether we know them or not - GOD KNOWS them & they are important to HIM - they should be important to us as well. Our VETERANS have done just that, what Jesus said was the greatest thing we could do for one another, to love enough that we would be willing to lay down our lives for each other, the willingness was there. Many lost their lives to SAVE OURS, many have been maimed in some way, either physically & emotionally or just emotionally. They put their necks on the line for us over the years & we should remember these precious men & women throughout the year someway, somehow, let them know you are thinking of them, that you LOVE them, & that you appreciate ALL THEY SACRIFICED to keep you free. This is a word from the heart of Jesus and His Heavenly Father to each Veteran who ever has served his country, be you active or nonactive in service at this time. He has burned this message in my heart for a few days now, so my prayer is that you will feel the intenseness of his love and understanding that he has for you and the promises he still holds for each of you - YOUR HOPE LIES IN CHRIST JESUS, IN HIS BLOOD, JESUS HOLDS THE KEYS OF ALL YOU NEED AND COULD EVER HOPE FOR! This is what the Lord said to me: (This is for each vet) "O My Precious Warriors who have given so much, you know so much of sacrifice, so much bloodshed, so much horror and sorrow. I have seen it all, I have heard all the cries, have felt all your pain, all your anger, your rejection and despair and disappointments. I have a record of each one who has given their life to save so many, those who made it back and those who did not but lost their lives on foreign lands. My love for you is greater than you can imagine and I will pour out my love, my grace, my joy, my deliverance and my restoration upon you. I want each of you to know my love and my word as TRUTH - My Word is LIFE to you, know my word for it will bring life to lifeless bodies, minds, and emotions. I will manifest my power in ways this world has not seen yet. There is hope - My ways are greater than man's for I have a way where man says there is NO WAY - your hope lies in my SON and thru Jesus have access to ALL that I have for you. In Jer 33:3, it says to call on me precious ones, call to me and I will tell you and show you great and unimaginable things you could never know or dream of. This is my promise to you, seek my face - I will be there for you. You will know my people that I bring to you for they will bear my love and compassion for you, they will be humble to allow me to do what I purpose in your lives. If I can restore life to DRY BONES in Ezekiel 37 by spoken words, and Ezekiel speaking what I give him, then so shall I do for you. Out of the Valley of Dry bones, rose an army - so shall I completely restore my precious warriors, giving new life to missing appendages, arms, legs, internal organs - this is newness in the most miraculous way - for you shall arise as new creatures, a Holy Army unto me becoming the greatest living testimonies unto my LOVE and POWER. Seek me and I shall show you this is true. I will prick your spirit with hunger for me, for a thirst that won't be quenched other than with the rivers of living water that I can give you, rivers of living waters shall flow out of your bellies to overflowing , and being drenched with all the wonderful blessings I have for you - you will be restored in my kingdom and those around you will fall down in wonderment of what they have seen. You shall walk in my spirit and touch many more for me, those who are crippled and facing death's doorstep from terminal illnesses - you shall bring them hope as I have given you hope. Look to me my precious warriors, look to me - you will not be deceived by the world, or man or your flesh, for you will hear MY VOICE LIKE NEVER BEFORE - all your concerns in your life, family finances, and more are in MY HANDS - and NO ONE CAN SNATCH YOU FROM ME - Will you trust me? You will know those that I bring to you that I will work thru for bringing everything about. I urge you this day to seek my face, let me love you like never before, let me embrace you in warmth that will feel like a fire going thru your body, but it will not burn you. Absorb Isa 43:1-3 also and know it is you also that I am calling out. Will you stand with me? Warriors, I'm calling you, will you RIDE WITH ME? Will you STAND TO FIGHT WITH ME ON YOUR SIDE? Together there will be victory and restitution for all that you have lost. I want you to know the fulness of my love for you. Come, I'm calling you now, come to me precious ones." |

Lighting the way to the greatest Love's Embrace |
WOW, praise the Lord!! He is so very precious and so loving. What an awesome God we serve! This is an outreach that the Lord has birthed in me since I was 16 years old when i worked in a state nursing home where many wounded vets were sent when the VA hospitals were too full. It was there that I was assigned to the men's ward just before the vets were brought in. It was there that I realized the magnitude of war and the sufferings of our vets. Many had different wounds, some head, some lost arms legs, internal injuries, you name it, I saw a lot at 16. I lost my heart to the vets then. I knew there was something special about them, and wondered, 'What could I ever give back to them that have given it all?' I still ask this today so many times. I remember hearing the cries and nightmares of the vets and working on 2nd shift, I lost a lot of sleep. I remember a guy named Bobby, he'd lost both legs from about mid-thigh down, I prayed then the Lord give me favor with him, for him to trust me with his life, to help him even to just get into the wheelchair, the Lord did that, and it was the first time I saw him smile. It was the most beautiful smile I have ever seen then and since then. We ended up having weekly wheelchair races on thursdays as a matter of fact. My love and respect for the vets have only grown leaps and bounds since then. Only until this past year, when given the memorial day message did the Lord tell me that all the training and preparing even when I knew not what for that he has done to this point; was to launch this Vet Outreach. I can't tell you how incredibly humble that made me, for all the teaching of being a prayer warrior, an intecessor is for all those he brings into my life. He said now was the time to he wanted to use this and more of his anointing on my life and those he leads to join together with me to begin stepping out in this outreach to the VETS and watch the manifestations begin to take place as he has promised. I know the Lord is about ready to do more thru me with the VETS and am asking for prayer for this ministry and all he joins with me to be brought about as God wishes. He has shown me much in the spirit as to what will be happening, just not sure yet how it will come about. I do know that I am directly involved as well as my prayer ministry with the Vets. I am led to share a couple things He has moved on me to share in relationship to this outreach. In the above portion of this webpage I have shared the messages the Lord has instructed me to. If each of you who is in receiving range of this obedience call, consider with prayer of sending your church as well as others the Lord may lead you to, to pass on this link to this site or printed out if necessary. Please be in prayer and be obedient to his leading. I know he has a purpose or this would not be written or site created. I have spent much time in prayer on obedience and prayer and the importance of both - and to believe in things unseen. I also know that when God speaks to you, it is because he is about to do something, adjustments in your life need to be made in order to join Him where he is working. He is bringing some things together by His Spirit by bringing to me those Vets, and contacts of those who currently work with the Vets and we are joined in one accord thru prayer. I'm on FIRE for these Vets like nothing I've ever felt or experienced, and the Lord says, 'I have poured my anointing and my fire into you for my purposes which are coming to pass. Your screen name is one I chose for you meaning, 'the WIND of my spirit and the FIRE of my anointing.' He woke me up one morning, a few months ago with a couple messages and one of them was about this calling to work with the Vets. God has major blessings for the VETS, such a HOPE and a TOUCH OF RESTORATION and HEALING like nothing this world has seen. It is God-sized for sure - and ONLY HE CAN BRING IT ABOUT and it is HE that has asked me to reach out our vets. The Lord also said to send prayer requests that he will answer prayer. Please send the prayer requests to the following addresses on behalf of the Ministry: Send them to: Heart n Soul Life Ministries, ATTN: Sandy Turner, 8438 Dresden Dr., Knoxville, TN 37923. Thank you for your time and prayers concerning this calling to the VETS. One step at a time as He leads. Here is the other message He wanted me to include, this is an OutReach to the Vets - directed by the Lord: I would like to know if there are any Vietnam Vets & vets from any of the other wars within the reach of this email. Please when you reply, please specify which war(s) it was that you fought in. God has placed a special burden in my heart for you, please write to us and let us know. Let us know also if you have a special need we can pray for you & stand in agreement with you for victory/deliverance & healing. Email wndnfire_2000@yahoo.com . This is something God has birthed in me since I was 16 where the overflow from the VA hospitals came to many of the state nursing homes. I assisted in giving health care assistance to some Vets' who had been injured. Some lost arms, legs, internal injuries, mental anguish, whatever the injury, I wanted to help and was assigned to help. I know there is restoration for you, whatever you injury should be, maybe it is not physical, but emotional and mental paralysis at times. Know there is restoration for you - if you question this burden in any way, feel free to ask Jesus if this is true & if he has really given me a special love from the Father for each one of you. Don't be concerned if you felt to ask Him, I'd rather you heard it from Him. I'm looking forward to truly getting to know each of you better or for the first time - please email & let me know, I am looking forward to what God plans to do thru this ministry amen? Please let me know if you &/or your spouse is a Vet as well. It may be your relative, or son or daughter, if so, please see if they will be willing to write also, share this with them & let them email me back if they will or write to me at the address provided earlier in this message. Please share with other Vets, their families, friends, and other ministries that have outreaches to them. Heart n Soul Life Ministries is very much interested in hearing from individual Vets, their families and organizations and churches that would like to submit prayer requests for Vets or ministries that are under attack and in need of prayer. You may email me at the address previously given: wndnfire_2000@yahoo.com I don't know what all the Lord wants to do thru this invitation, but I do know he LOVES YOU and so do I. I'd love for you to reply and giving me a chance to be a friend to you and a prayer warrior to bring blessings to touch your life as never before - thanks for your time. I will continue to love you and pray for you. God knows who you are and will never leave you. The Lord has asked me to start by sending this thru my lists, which I have done, now has asked me to create this site and He is control of it all and where it goes from here. I am just being obedient to do as He asks me to do. *********** |

HONORABLE VET SITES To Be checked out. I have visited many vet sites only to realize how many more there are. I want to list a few that have moved me and given me a real admiration for the vets, and of their struggles to get back to some sort of normalcy in their life. I have learned from the writings and testimonies of these vets from every branch of the service what big hearts they have, such passion, and deep deep convictions. I have cried many times reading through these sites, trying to comprehend the horrors they have experienced and many still do today. I realize that any war takes a toll on a soldier, and the training is grueling - I have been very impressed by the bravery of our soldiers then and now, I take nothing away from our soldiers today, as it is not easy facing death at any time. I have to look back at the Korean War which I have been trying to read up on more, and of course Vietnam, these vets have seen and experienced horrors like none other since then. I have been angry, hurt, horrified and disgusted by our country's disgraceful treatment of our Vietnam Vets while they were fighting under very unfavorable conditions, listening to the horrible media coverage of the war. How deflating to hear all the ruckus that went on in America while they were fighting and losing their lives for a war many in America did care about, didn't want, even the government was at odds about this war. I know the Iraqi war had it horrible media coverage on most stations and showing how so many of the American's had to go back to how they acted during Vietnam by showing their hate and disrespect of the war - but don't they realize how that can crush our troops - they need to know we are praying for them, supporting their putting their lives on the line for all of us to keep us free - most of the time that becomes way down on the list of priorities and it shouldn't be. Our Nam vets, had to be humiliated even more when they came home. They were not welcomed nor given any respect. Horrible words of hate and hurt spewed out of the mouths of many of Americans. It was not a proud moment in our history for sure. You know what? From so much of what I've read of the writings from these vets, it shows me the kind of men and women that fought in that crazy war, lots of character, much more character than many of us who never had to sacrifice what they have and still do. I have said my peace on this matter for now, please check out some of these sites: https://www.thecornerstoneconnection.org/helpVets.aspx https://www.oocities.org/wndnfire_2000/Fallen_Soldiers.html https://www.clermontyellowribbon.com/ http://www.manchu.org/sounds/ the sounds of Vietnam http://www.treefort.org/~cbodoten/rvntanks/tribute. shtml http://www.oocities.org/~pointmen/testimony.htm http://www.forceministries.com http://www.crossfireintl.com http://www.facethefire.org http://www.namvetbook.com/173rdHistory.html http://www.daveroever.net/v_jb.html http://www.oocities.org/openhandsandhearts http://ww.pointmanseattle.org http://www.uso.org http://www.kcugonline.com/charlesd/ <Christian Stories by Charles Dean, Nam Vet USMC http://inquirer.philly.com/packages/somalia <about the book 'BlackHawk Down' http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/presents/index. blackhawk.html There so many more sites that can be added here but these will touch your hearts and give you some insight into the hearts and accomplishments and achievements and the battlescars of our Vets, and especially our Nam Vets. *************************************************** |
IN DEDICATION TO & IN MEMORY OF: My dad, Joseph T. Watts, a WWII 12th Tactical Airforce, 57th Bomber Wing vet. My father passed away 5/22/91, lost his battle with Leukemia, but this is where my ministry of prayer and intercession began, ministering to him. He lost the war with Leukemia's cruel complications as a result of treatment with Chemo - the Leukemia was so mutated, that the dose of Chemo used to fight it almost killed him the first time around, it ate thru 3 places in the main aorta, causing him to have to have a triple aorta bypass that the doctor's gave him less than 25% chance of him coming through -but by the prayers and grace of God he did. It was the second time around that got him, just a year and 4 months later. He had only 3 weeks of which I was there all but 4 days & my mom was in intensive care from collapsing from an asthma attack for almost half of the 3 weeks.. The greatest victory in all this is that he is walking the streets of gold with Jesus, walking and talking with him daily and having no pain, and no sorrow. I know my dad is aware of how the Lord has developed my prayer ministry and is very proud, I believe he is aware of those still suffering and would rejoice in each vet, each person that found our Lord and Savior before it is too late, too late to really enjoy him here on earth and sharing with others, your loved ones the joy and peace and deliverance on He can give to the most impossible situation one may face; to have the assurance you will see your loved ones again in eternity and there are but two choices of where that eternity will be, either in hell without Jesus and total separation from God; or in heaven with Jesus Christ and Abba Father for all eternity as heirs to his kingdom. The choice is ours, each of our to make. I know what my mom and dad and other loved ones have made, do you? Are you sure of where you will spend eternity? . Dad, I dedicate this vet stie to you in honor of you and your sacrifices you have made in your missions in Target Italy and in your life as my dad. Dad, you were and still are loved so much and missed terribly. I can only trust Jesus that you will be aware of the upcoming Vets Reunion to take place here in TN and I know you will be praying as well for Jesus to work miracles in these vets lives that come so that we can give back so much of what we failed to do when we needed to. Dad, I love you and the Lord is taking care of us and mom, and Linda and her family, just don't stop interceeding for us. Here is my dad's mission site if you are interested in checking it out: http://members.northrock.bm/~ehetzel/57thindex.html The son of one of the leaders for Target Italy created this site and I have written to him off and on. I also want to remember my father inlaw, Charles W. Turner Sr. who is still alive praise the Lord right here in TN and is one of the Merrill's Marauders. I am so honored. When I have studied up on this group, and have seen the movie(which he is in the real footage parts) about the heroics and horrific conditions in which they fought also - I'm so proud to have him here with us today. Please feel free to check out this website as well. God bless you Charles and thank you for your couragage in battle and I thank God I'm fortunate to be your daughter inlaw - you know Jesus had his hand on you to bring you back safe. http://www.benning.army.mil/rtb/HISTORY/merrill.htm |
IN MEMORY OF: I want us to always remember those MIA and those that gave the ultimate sacrifice - losing their life on foreign soil to save our lives and our freedoms. Let us never forget WWI & WWII where many lost lives and POWs were scattered all over both hemipheres. Let's not forget the horrific horrors of the Korean War where many lost lives there as well. Vietnam losses were many, remember the efforts to get out POWs back and seek out our MIA's for years. Through the sites listed above, you can see how the Lord is putting the pieces of these men and women back together where not only the war in Vietnam raged war on them everyway possible, but they were courageous, they didn't give up in spite of the odds against them, then only to come home to find a country they had sacrificed their all for; (where memories of fallen brothers still remain fresh in their minds and hearts and the sound of gunfire echoes in their head), had turned against them- not just the war, but this country could not separate their hate for war from our brave soldiers who were hurting and battered from the scars of the war and looking for love, appreciation, respect for all they sacrificed. We, as a whole, who have never had to fight in a war, hurt these precious souls worse than any wound that they could have encountered on the battlefield. There battlefield just changed locations, it is where they dreamed of finding peace, love, safety, acceptance and respect, only to be let down on so many fronts.. It is time that we as a people with the help of Jesus, find ways to make amends and give back to our veterans, especially our Nam Vets. I don't believe there has been a war where our vets were so horribly mistreated, even with the fights and violence that broke out here today about the Iraqi war and even after our men were deployed out we still fought publically and disgracefully about whether we should even be there; these vets today were still loved and accepted in this country - there was purposeful statement by the most agrumentative peoples, that regardless of our beliefs about this Iraqi war, we had to think of our troops! Well, praise God for this bit of education and growth from the mistakes we made in Vietnam. Let me tell you, of all the Vietnam Vets that I have ever met, you can tell they have been thru some really hard times, but there is a heart in each of them that would make you proud. There is a love and a loyalty that many of us don't have or try to have within our own families let alone a country. Yes, many of them are fighting for their lives, in problems in their marriages, drugs, alcohol, some abusive situations. We need to help get to the root of it and it all begins with their lack of acceptance and the humiliating words and actions taken against them while they sacrificed their lives on foreign soils and when they arrrived home; what they thought was their home. Yes, they suffer what many of us do in life and need help, but there is much love and admiration that needs to be given back to these Nam Vets. I hope you will join with me to give back to them the best we can in honor and love and respect and tell them, we are sorry, I believe we need to ask them to forgive us for how we treated them - us as a country - and let Jesus use you to reach out and love them and tell them how proud you are of them. I want each of the Nam Vets that read this page, to know that I am so very proud of you in how you fought such a difficult war, of the sacrifices you have made and still are struggling with. I pray for you every day, and your families and beloved brothers and sisters who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I humbly right now, ask for forgiveness for our nation in the way that you have been treated, for the injustices that have been brought against you in word and in deed. Forgive us. I lay my life down on behalf of us as a people, for you and ask for mercy which we may not deserve, but I ask it anyway, forgive us my brother, my sister, for we were ignorant of many things. We were selfish in our thoughts and actions. Please, forgive us for we knew not what were were doing, we were blind and could not see, we were lost in so many ways, but now I trust you have found us and seen in us a new heart toward you. I ask on behalf of this country that you fought for so courageously and thru many sacrifices that God bless you and keep you and may you know this new love from us and most importantly is the Love of Jesus Christ; the only love that can tear down all the walls of imprisonment you may feel at times, the nightmarish and hellish dreams and flashbacks. There is peace for you, there is hope for you and the hope lies in Jesus Christ who has brought me and the love he has given me and to many others for you, to you. Always & forever your friend, sandy/Heart n Soul Life Ministries - Semper Fi! |

HAVE YOU EVER LOVED A FALLEN HERO? Have you ever given your heart to ... a soldier/airman/marine/sailor? Have you ever laid in bed the night before deployment... listening to every heartbeat and breath - all night long? Have you ever kissed them goodbye smiling... not allowing the tears to fall, determined to be just as brave as they were... only to cry a river, when they were safely on their way? Have you ever cherished every... card, letter, email, every 10 minute phone call? Have you ever wondered, prayed, hoped for their safe return? Have you ever had them come home in a Flag draped casket? Have you ever loved a fallen soldier? I have... Tara Rose Copyright 2004 |

MY HUMBLE PRAYER for our Soldiers & Our COUNTRY by Sandy Turner/jg Now I see our troops are still in enemy territory with victory of major war in hand, Please keep them Jesus in your care Protect us from the evils that still fill the land on ground or air. Forgive us Lord for sins future, present & past. We humble ourselves before You Lord, here on the main land & on foreign soil. We ask that your mighty army go out among our troops & surround them in front & at the rear creating a shield that can not be shattered. We stand united you see behind our leader who trusts you Lord & our troops whom we love so dear. Cover them with your blood so that the evil & death pass them by, giving them a chance to set the people free from evil. We give you thanks Lord for the victories we have won, and for the losses our troops and families have incurred, we ask you Lord for your peace and comfort to surround and embrace each one Lord with Your Love Eternal and the Hope that lies in YOU. Just as you laid your life down for all to see & receive salvation through your sacrifice, our troops are laying their lives down yet again to save & protect & set free those enslaved by horrors & fear. Encircle our land here at home & abroad Lord, seeking out those in our land & abroad that plan to harm us from within, turning all evil into something good. Keep us humbled before you Lord, that we keep you in our hearts day and night. Thank you Lord for the friends that have stood up & joined our country, President Bush & troops for what is right & just., Continue to give our Commander in Chief your wisdom & favor in leading this country & during this time of fighting for peace. Help our troops to protect Israel Lord, give them your protection & wisdom & power to do what is right just when evil head their way. Shine your light & love on us Lord, on our troops, let not a one be discouraged but know you will be their help & their God. Embrace their families & keep them strong I pray & hold us all in your loving hands. Now I see you are in control Lord, now I thank you for your faithfulness & your love for all & for those who stand on our behalf in harms way. For those who have given the ultimate sacrifice Lord, I thank you that you hold them close to you at this time & continue to embrace these soldiers that have had to say goodbye to many of their brothers & sisters, even in their best efforts tried to save their lives Lord, but you still called them home. We know that they are no longer in pain & for that we are eternally grateful. Lord, embrace their families with your undying love & mercy. Lord, now I lay me down to sleep upon your shoulder where I can rest in peace that you are in control & will carry me & our troops thru the fire & rain, never leaving us or forsaking us. AMEN & AMEN. |
