Four  WBC shuttlecock strikers have distinguished themselves and brought recognition to the club during this millenium year.  They are:
 

1. Lam Trinh and Hong Trinh
2. Yvonne Long
3. Faiz Mohyuddin

Hong Trinh and Lam Trinh

Lam Trinh made us all proud with a display of stamina and guts during the Scarborough Badminton Association's A/B Consolation Singles 2000 Championship Finals.  In the end Lam prevailed in a see-saw battle and brought the title home.  No less exciting a player, Hong paired with his brother Lam to capture the Scarborough Badminton Association  2000  "C" Doubles Consolation Title.

Yvonne Long and Faiz Mohyuddin

A recent arrival at Woburn Badminton Club, Yvonne  has shown us that she has a winning style with a smile.   Yvonne partnered with Faiz to win the Toronto Interchurch Badminton League's 2000 Mixed Doubles Title and the Scarborough Badminton Association's 2000 Mixed A/B Title.  A gentleman on the court and off, Faiz consistently displays exemplary badminton finesse.  He  has been a source of  inspiration to all Woburn BC players since joining the club several years ago.
