German Officer cavalry bottle for spirits, ect.

Very rare private purchase glass bottle in leather carrier to attach to the saddle arrangement. Before and duyring WW1 officers could buy a lot of private purchase equipment like saddle bags with toilet articles, etc.. A period catalogue shows these type of glass bottles closed with a silver cap which were carried in a brown leather holster. The leather strap to close the lid is broken, but otherwise the item is in perfect condition. A really rare and nice find which will enhance your cavalry display dramatically !
