Dinky Toys 581 Horse Box - US Export - very rare : Change to the British Rail Logo for US sale.

Here is a chance to buy the very rare U.S.A. issue of the popular horse box. The model is in very good condition with only light rubbing here and there more from being removed and replaced in the box rather than playwear. The box is just about as good as you will find, in very bright clean condition with only a very minor bump to one end, hardly noticable. The lettering on the USA box is slightly different from the GB issue, and it also shows the correct USA model in the picture. Most important is the original H. HUDON DOBSON orange label to one side, again in super condition. The original price of $3.85[I wish!] is marked on one end and what looks like the original tape to keep the lid on is also present. All in all a great example of a hard to find Dinky Toy. Sold with no reserve [I see there are 3 on ebay but they want £450!]
