What is Wolfenstein 3d? Well, it's the game that started ALL 1st person 3d shooters. Wolfenstein 3d was oringinally made by Id Software. Without it we would have all the great first person shooters(FPS) out there. For example, we wouldn't have Doom, Duke3d, Quake, Half-life, Goldeneye64...any first person shooter out there. Wolf3d is truely a great revolutionary game.

You might think that wolf3d is old and crappy, but its one of the most fun and enjoyable games out there. There are tons of mods out there. They are all fun too...you should also check out my mod, "The Matrix". Mod making is one of the few reasons why I play Wolfenstein 3D. It's damn fun and easy to make.

Ok....I don't wanna waste my time writing a whole 20 page essay. You know how important Wolf3d is...SO GET GOING AND STOP WASTEING YOUR TIME HERE!! More info below.

About
Story

Well, I do have to admit that the story to wolfenstein3d is kinda crappy. But here it is:

You are B.J. Blazkowicz, an allied American spy; expert on espionage. In World War 2, you are sent to Nazi Germany to fight the nazis and Htiler. Facing many dangers you get caught and is sent to a nazi prison which is known as CASTLE: WOLFENSTEIN...where the game takes place. You have to try to excape Castle Wolfentstien and at the same time face the brutal eniemies and cruel, powerful bosses. Do u have the strength and power to excape it?

The game starts when you just excape from the prison cell.  Fight your way though 60 levels and 6 episodes of action! There are many bosses and a lot of eneimies. GOOD LUCK!!!!
History
Why was Wolf3d made? Well, youre about to find out. Wolfenstein 3d came from the old game "Castle Wolfenstein". It was made in 1983 by Muse Software. I think Id played the game and it was an inspiratioin toward the making of one of the best games ever, Wolfenstein 3d!!!

Well thats about all I know of it. To be honest, Ive never played Castle Wolfenstein myself, but you can get it from my Downloads section.  Below are a few pics of the the title screen designs of Wolf3d.
Earliest Wolf3d title screen in the EGA stage. The EGA version was "ditched" and they moved on to making a vga version.
Here is the title screen in the VGA stage....almost looks like the one we have now. It just needs a little fixing and....
BOOM! there we have it. Our great Wolfenstein 3d title screen. :)
