TW Web Launcher

Range: The launcher unit can shoot a web stream upto 50 feet away. Though, if one end is secured to a stable surface (large tree, wall, heavy vehicle...) the unit can "excrete" a virtually limitless web line. The maximum stable lengths are a different story. The web cord can support a light (0-100 lb) weight for a tested 3,000 feet before snapping. A medium (101-700 lb) weight will be supported upto 1,000 ft. A large (701-2,000 lb) can be supported upto 400 feet. The web cord will not support weights of over one ton beyond 10 ft. In cases where the length is exceeded the cord will hold for 1D4 melees before snapping.

Duration: Varies. As long as the cord is not severed, broken, cut, snapped, etc... from the spinner unit the cord will not begin to break down. When the cord is disconnected fron the unit, it will begin to break down (dissolve into nothing) at a rate of 20 feet per minute.

Activation Cost: To activate the unit requires the user to cast a Carpet of Adhesion (10 P.P.E. or 20 I.S.P.) for every 15 ft. length of web. The spinner housing unit can store up to 100 P.P.E. or 80 I.S.P. that can be saved till the web cord is needed. Can only be used be psychics or magic users.

Creation Costs: To make the Web Launcher requires some electrical circuts worth around 100 cr. total, a fishing reel, at least 300 cr. worth of quarts crystal, one amethyst worth 500 cr., and three abdomens from web making spiders.

Magical Creation Costs: To enchant the Web Launcher the Techno-Wizard must spend 50 P.P.E. plus the requirements of the following spells; Mystic Fulcrum (5), Feather Light (10), Force Bonds (25), Carpet of Adhesion (10), Climb (3), and Telekinisis (6).

Constriction Time: Typically takes 1D4 weeks to produce one TW Web Launcher Unit.

Purchasing costs: Typical Unit will sell for 20,000 cr.
