I'm a 22 year old (I know I look younger) college student suffering from a reptile and fish addiction. Oh I actually like just about everything. I don't remember ever not being without some type of pet when I was growing up. Four years ago I got an urge to try something different. I thought a snake sounded really different than the norm. At first I was hesitant. I mean after all, we are talking about a SNAKE here :). Well, after reading everything on snakes I could find I decided to go for it, and I couldn't be more happy that I did. I actually ended up getting an albino cornsnake, a veiled chameleon, and a baby bearded dragon from a Reptile show (yes I had planned on making all of these purchases). Thats how my addiction started. Now I currently own 49 reptiles, 3 frogs, 4 cats, and 7 fish tanks. All that in my apartment! Luckily my new place actually allows animals. Needless to say, my apartment looks like a zoo, however I finally have a room just for the reptiles :). Nine months ago I actually found the man of my dreams! And I thought I'd never find a guy that would tolerate, let alone enjoy my animals, especially the snakes. I know it was fate that we met. My boyfriend helps me clean cages and handles the reptiles like they are his own. He has even taking a strong liking to one of the ball pythons and I refer to it as "his snake". The only way that I could possibly be happier at this moment is if I was finished with school! I still have one more year until I graduate! What I do in my free time..
