This is great and all, but what the heck is a MOD anyway? A MOD ( or modification) is very simple to understand. It is just a manipulation of a games code, for any reason needed. This includes graphics, interface, gameplay, and anything else you can think of. For example, the highly esteemed Counter-Strike is in fact a MOD. In this particular case, it is what we call a full conversion mod, changing every aspect of the game completely, right down to the menu's and sounds. And that, is pretty much what a mod is.
