Farm Hand
Combined Dairy and Beef farm.  Was involved in all facets of farming for a three year duration.  Milk and care for Dairy cows. Mow, rake, bale, and stack hay. Fill silos. Till and prep fields for planting.  Raised capons, hogs, and steers for 4-H market projects.  Won best in class with steer at Washington County fair along with fitter ribbon and showmanship ribbons.  Won rate of gain trophy with a market hog at Washington County fair.

Night Manager
Worked part time while in high school.  Performed basic reatil functions or waiting on customers.  Was promoted to night manager/ head clerk at the age of 17. As manager, I was responsible for  closing the store which consisted of balancing three cash registers and totaling the lottery receipts.  Additionally, night managers had to prepare the store for the next business day and make the nightly bank deposits.

Network Manager
Manage network of contractors that service warranty contracts in three states. Position is mostly out of office. Duties include managing existing network of 112 individual contractors with almost three hundred different contracts for work.  Monitor coverage for multiple programs in multiple states. Deal with compliance issues.  Develop, initiate, and monitor cost containment efforts per job/per program/per contractor to ensure lowest possible impact to corporate bottom line.  Interview prospective contractors. Assist in the development of new products and services.  Act as technical liason for call center, marketing, and operations departments.  Currently we offer an external gas line policy, in home gas line policy, external water line policy, and home heating and cooling policy.

Inside Sales Rep.
Worked in the existing residential department.  I managed a specific territory of Peoples Gas to promote the sale and use of non-core natural gas appliances to increase throughput thereby maximizing on the capital investment of pipeline infrastructure.  Non-core or specialty appliances consisted of natural gas: logs, lights, pool heaters, garage heaters, patio heaters, camp fires, grills, and generators.  The departmental goal was to increase natural gas throughput throught the use of direct mail, co-op advertising, mass media,  and consumer education by .4Bcf a year.  This was accomplished through the management of trade ally dealers who sold and installed these types of products.  I consistantly performed at an EE rating in this position.

Earned rapid promotion within full service security agency with 150-200 employees providing services to clients in southwestern Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia.  Quickly completed management training.  Served as Assistant Personnel Director from February 1993 to May 1993 prior to earning promotion to Director of Operations.

Performed multi-functional role including sales, public relations, and personnel functions.  Worked closely with corporate offices.  Intereacted extensively wiht clients to present services, write orders, and resolve problems.  Visited customer job sites.  Assisted in recruting, hiring, scheduling, payroll record keeping, Workers Compensation and Unemployment claims, and other personnel functions.  Input and retrieve client and personnel data on computer system.  Prepared management reports.
