What is Camp Hickory
Hill?
Camp Hickory Hill is a year
around camp that is dedicated to God.
During the summer, the camp
becomes a boys camp.
Christian counselors, are there
to help to bring Boys to Christ, and to help the Christians grow
in the Lord.
During the fall, winter, and
spring, camp is used for church retreats, family camping, and
for any one who wants to rent a cabin.

My experience at camp.
The summer program is my favorite.
I have been on the summer staff for 18 years. I have been a camper
for four years. I have seen campers grow into camp counselors,
and then they have moved onto other mission fields.
The best part of camp is seeing
God working in their lives of young men, and seeing them grow
in their Christian walk with the Lord.

The Fun Things at
Camp.
The ravine is a great way to
catch crayfish, salamanders, and newts. There are also small pools
to go swimming in. Down the ravine, there is a mud slide. Its
a little bumpy, but defiantly muddy.
The pond is were canoeing, and
fishing takes place. Sometimes, for the older boys, they make,
and cross a rope bridge. There are horses, archery, a rifle range,
swimming pool, a gym, and a hand craft building (where boys create
on wood working projects).

Wednesday night cookouts are
a special time. It is a time when the cabin group spends time
in God's country. It's a time where a cabin group gets to make
their own supper, sing songs, and get to know each other and God
better.

Camping Adventure Program

The Camping Adventure Program
provides the camper with a variety of activities. Last year, some
of the activities are biulding a shelter, building a fire, rope
ladders, rapelling, swimming in a creek, cooking different types
of backpacking food, and demos of different kinds of out door
trips.
This program is in its' second
year. I have been working on this program from the begining. The
above pictures are from this program.

Camp Songs
These are the songs that we
sing. There are three different types of songs that we sing. Fun
songs, Transitional songs, and Choruses. Click here to go the song index.
