PICS
Unfortunately, we lost the best teacher in the world this year to the pharmaceutical business (Teachers in North Carolina are treated horribly).  This pics are from Mr. Phillips's last day.  He was an incredible teacher who inspired everyone to new heights.  As you can see, he was immensely popular with his students and is greatly missed.  April 23, 2002 is a day which shall live in infamy in the hearts of his students.  The pic on the left is my U.S. History class, and the one in the center is the group that showed up en masse at 7:15 am to pay homage to Mr. Phillips on his last day.
Me at the Pinehurst driving range before Oct. 2001 golf regionals
Me and one of my best friends to this day, KC, after she scored the goal that won our second consecutive middle school soccer county championship in 8th grade.
My babies--German shepherds Blitzen (above) and B.J.
My cat Rosie, with whom I have a love-hate relationship
Mini-Me at 3 at the San Diego Zoo
Yes, even I had long hair once!  This pic was taken in 3rd grade.
Meeting one of my heroes, Steve Wojciechowski, at ACC Open House in 8th grade
This is my 17-year old cock-a-poo Yuppie.  She is blind, deaf, and stupid, but has a tremendous will to live.
My other baby, my '97 Ford Ranger XLT.  Its name is Archie.  Check out my rear plate!  (Front one says Archie 11)
In December 2001, I underwent spinal surgery to correct scoliosis.  On the left is a very unconscious me on the day of surgery.  In the middle is me with the best surgeon in the world, Dr. Brigham.  On the right is me with the best nurse in the world, Juliann, who made my hospital stay just a little less frightening.
I spent two weeks in a wheelchair following surgery.  They are two weeks I will never forget, as I stepped into someone else's shoes.  Being confined to a wheelchair is not easy, and wheelchair access is not nearly what it should be.
I spent two weeks in the summer of 2000 traveling to Finland and Sweden with the People to People Sports Ambassadors.  At the top is my team with a Swedish team we played against in training camp in Finland.  At left is my team decked out in red, white, and blue for the opening ceremonies of the Gothia Cup world youth soccer tournament.  At right is the wall welcoming visitors to Goteborg, Sweden in various languages.
