Dark Shadow's Sweet Grass Lodge Dedication Page

This is my SweetGrass Lodge Dedication page.
first off I would like to say honors and respect
to all my SweetGrass Lodge sisters, may your
hearts know Peace, your souls know Love, and
may you always seek for Wisdom as your guide.

My Shield and banner represent many things in nature.
As you can see the woman is holding up her hands to
the Heavens, above her head is a wolf, the wolf is casting
a dark shadow, all these things represent me. I am the
woman holding up the wolf, battleing for his rights as
he can not speak for himself nor battle todays crule world.
There is a circle of beads around the woman and the wolf,
these beads represent the Universe and God, as God has
no beginning nor has no ending. Thus the circle of life.

Then you see the wolf walking out and into the world,
this is also me, as I trod on battleing for justice as well
as freedom for all the wolves. Then you see the wolf in
the night howling up to the Heavens. The wolf is honoring
His Creator, and as he cries, he cries out for freedom. The
freedom to be wild and free as he was born and meant to be.
Not to be killed or enslaved due to greed and sport.

The wolf is my totem and my guide, I have known this
for many years as I dream of the wolf very often and
have had these dreams ever sinse I was a small child.
The wolf has come to me in my dreams always a guide,
giving me insight and wisdom to many things. Thus my
dreamcatchers.

The dreamcatcher to the left has the Eagle which represents
freedom, this is because when the wolf comes to me in my
dreams this is when I feel most free and able to be most
open to all the Universe and everything within it. The
dreamcatcher to the right represents the wolf coming to me
and guiding me during my dreams. He is my guide, my protector,
and my friend.

The reason for the choice in my colors, which are the colors
of Autumn, is because of my birth. I was born in the Autumn,
I am a November baby, a Sagittarius, half human half beast,
thus my close bond with all creatures of the wild.
Also the meaning of Autumn to me is one of change, of
rebirth, of death, deep emotions, honesty, and wisdom.
I have always awed at and loved the Autumn, the changing
colors of the leaves, the wind gently pushing at your back and
kissing at your face.

My deep passionate beliefs

I believe that you should give people their flowers while
they are alive. Don't wait until someone passes on to
tell them you care, or bring them flowers. My father
told me when I was 15 years old to always give the
people you care for their flowers while they are alive.
I have implemented this into my every day life and walk.

Far to many times I have lost loved ones without being
able to say goodbye. I never felt as though I had a good
closure on those relationships. I learned the hard way, even
after my father telling me this, that to feel at peace from the
loss of a loved one we must know in our hearts that we
have done all that we can and were capable of doing while
they were here on this plan of existence.

Sad but true some souls have not the capability to receive love.
They make it very difficult to give them anything as their
spirits have been badly damaged and thus they can't love
or receive love. Never feel guilty in a case such as this as
long as your conscience is clear and you know in your
heart that you have done all that you can do.

So for this reason I am giving a couple of gifts to all
my SweetGrass Lodge Sisters, please except these
humble tokens of my love and respect for all of
your womanhood, sisterhood, and above all
because you are all love, and beauty.
As we are all related because we all
come from the same Creator, our Father God
and our Mother Earth.

I will keep updating this page as time passes.
