Sky, Lou,&WolfEchoValleyCrew
Greetings from the CDN North. name is SkylarBreton, but you can call me Sky and this is my husband Louis together we run WolfEcho Valley. My husband also owns his own Engineering design buisness.   We are avid outdoorspeople who love to bike, hike, canoe , kayak and anything else that gets us out into the world to explore. We call ourselves environmental enthusiasts.  I am an artist, writer of poetry and music, jewellery and clothing designer/maker, making beaded works of art, dancer, sculpter, vegetarian since childhood and lover of everything and anything wild, really a tree hugger. I believe in keeping fit body wise, spiritual wise, and mind wise and work on these things daily for myself.   My husband is a designer/inventor and his latest has been building his BIO-Diesel plant as he has been running his diesel trucks off of used fryer oil, needless to say the exhaust fumes really do smell like french fries.  Anything Lou and I can do to help benefit the Mother Earth by practicing environmentally friendly ways of living, we find a way to do. We love long motorcycle trips and someday I hope to get my own sport bike I attained my own licensing in 1998 got tired of always sitting on the back of the bike. Louis is into extreme sports and used to coach the local mountain bike team here.    I believe the earths resources are merely on loan like a book from the library, we have to give it back eventually and in still good condition.  I have been raised all my life with and around wild animals wolves, tigers, bears OH MY! *grin*.  I have been living with and married to Louis for 12 years as of July 2003, and it's been quite the long trip as I was still only a teenager when we moved in together.  Just starting out in my twenties we bought our first lil acreage due to my extensive background and experience with wild critters I was able to attain licensing to hold wolves, foxes, raccoons, etc. and brought some wolves into our lives, this also extended into wolfdogs and for the past number of years we have proudly educated, rescued and shared our lives with pure wolves and wolfdogs of various contents and %'s. I am currently applying to attain a rehabbers permit. Having done a lot of educational work for the zoo here bringing wild animals into classrooms to give presentations on the biology of the animals, and the environment in which they live, my love for raptors grew out of working so close and one on one with the birds. A mammal and raptor rehab centre would be nice. I believe animals are a key way to reach children who have emotional difficulties as well, or are just very shy I hope to one day work even more with kids that I have to the present.   Tho I do not bring my religious faith or belief into everyday conversations with people, I am proud of those beliefs,I was raised with the buddhist ways and am a devoted practitioner of those ways to this day. I think I managed to get my husband quite attached to the ways as well. I love people, I love nature, I love life, and believe since we never know how much time we have, that to live the day, the hour, the minute to it's fullest advantage is the way to go In my humble opinion. You can never tell someone how much they mean, too many times. To treat the land with honor, to listen to it's secrets long ago past, and learn from it's many lessons, is a part of the journey we all must take however the paths differ from each other. We all love, cry, feel frustration/desperation,anger and happiness, elation and all time lows,  how we manage to cope and deal with all the many experiences we shall go through will depend on how strong ones belief and faith is, no matter the form that belief or faith takes.  Each day I make a promise to myself to learn something, to take something from the day and treasure it, to treat others with as much kindness and respect as possible even on days when I myself feel horrible. We never know when we will need someone to understand and feel for our own situation so to be kind when another is down and out is a great way to add to your own soul, and you may just make another friend or even safe a life. Never give for the sake of getting back in this life, but give for the mere gift of giving. The giving can take many forms and may consist of mere recognition of another human being in this world by simply saying hi and smiling, maybe to a check -out cashier, or someone you meet in line at the grocery store, of perhaps taking some homeless person out for a warm lunch. Giving of yourself, you do not lose anything in fact, you gain. I hope you enjoyed reading but a little about myself and my lifes passions, there are many.br>
