Dr. Jyl Bishop Veale, BSc, is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in private practice at the Wolfville Naturopathic Clinic in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.  A Kings County native, Jyl attended Acadia University where she was honored as an academic All-Canadian, and later graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science.  Her doctorate was obtained at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, the only institute of its kind in Canada.  Upon graduation, Jyl was presented with the Dr. Allen Tyler-Dr. A.A. Wood Award for The Most Outstanding Intern in the Broad Range of Naturopathic Therapies.

Dr. Bishop Veale is a member of the Canadian Naturopathic Association, a registered member of the Nova Scotia Naturopathic Association, and a licensed member of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association.  In addition to maintaining a private practice, she conducts public seminars and writes a regular newspaper column entitled Ask The Naturopath.
