The Ways and Means Committee is the fund raising arm of the club who arrange events throughout the year. We are always looking for ideas for events which you the members will want to attend. If you have an idea or would like to run an event please contact Martin Frost on 0956 518884 or as ever ask behind the bar and they will point you in the right direction.

Lunch - September 18th. vs Grimsby Powergen Intermediate Cup
We are playing Grimsby in the National Intermediate Cup at home this Saturday. This may be a new fixture for us, but Grimsby have a great tradition dating back to 1885. They play in Midlands 3 East (North), so will be on the same level as ourselves in the league structure. It should provide a good early test for our new team.
Meal Night - October 22nd .
The first of our 2 meal nights aimed at all in the club with their wives, partners etc. These are always good fun and provide some extra revenue in the shape of a raffle for the F.P.A.
Twickenham Trip - England vs South Africa - 20th November.
This has now become an annual event. We have chosen South Africa as we feel the tickets may be easier to come by than vs Australia the following week. If you would like to come please fill in the sheet on the back and return it to us so that we can try and get enough tickets.
Lunch - December 18th vs Sutton Coldfield. Powergen League
Our second traditional lunch. Please give us your support when we play Sutton Coldfield. Also a good chance to avoid Christmas shopping.
Burns Night Supper - 28th January.
After our great success with this event last year, we will have a bash at it again this year. Bring your friends for an evening of Scottish culture!!
Lunch - February 5th vs Willenhall in Powergen League + France vs Scotland at 2.00 pm + Wales vs England at 5.30pm
A triple header! Come for lunch and choose between our 1st XV outside and France /Scotland on the box and then watch England play Wales at Cardiff on the TV. A choice of the big screen in the main clubhouse or the TV in the lounge.
Lunch - 19th March. Italy vs France at 1.00pm, Wales vs Ireland 3.30pm and England vs Scotland 6.00pm.
No 1st XV match this day, but the climax of the 6 nations on the TV!! Lunch in Italy, afternoon tea in Cardiff and dinner in London! All on offer in your own club lounge.
Lunch - 9th April vs Bridgnorth in Powergen League.
Local rivals in the penultimate league match of the season.
Annual Dinner - 22nd April
Our usual black tie dinner with a guest speaker who has yet to be arranged.
