Orc Warlord

This is a DSA Orc Warlord from Fan Pro that I painted for Visions in Color (#5).  To learn more about ViC, go here: http://miniature-painting.net/visions_index.html.  Originally, the model came armed with a spear, but I just couldn't imagine any self-respecting Orc warlord going to battle with any less than an axe or two.

Blue Dragon

From Grenadier Models, in their Dragon Lords, Dragon of the month series.  

This was one of the first miniatures I bought way back in 1984(-ish).  It has been painted many time over the years as my skills increased.  This is the first miniature that I tried mixing metallic and non-metallic paints.  I wanted to give the scales a nice silver sheen, and think it turned out rather well.  Now that I've had some time to look at it, I wish I had not used yellow on the underbelly, it's just too strong against the blue.
