Nata'aska Hasan Humminbird is a nationally recognized traditional healing song story woman and sweat lodge leader. "Mama Nataska" as she is called by many, is the fourth generation of Native American African sound healing women in her family. She was taught by her Cherokee, Choctaw mother, "Mountain Eagle Woman" and her Creek African grandmother to use energy of sound to nourish the emotions, cleanse the spirit, and to wake up the ancestral memory. For the past 30 years she has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, Africa and the Caribbean lecturing, performing and studying. Her song seminars and lecture/concerts center around helping participants tap into the celestial root of sound and its healing effects on the body. Participants are taken on a historical journey through time which assists them to reconnecting with their ancient "mother voice".
