Expected Results
This project focuses around the issues of prostitution and the sex trade. It brings together a diverse group of partners who want to promote fundamental change in the way society views and treats one of its most marginalized and poorest groups.

Impact: Increase, in substantial manner, the capicity of the Filipino institutions and organizations to educate and train specific groups involved in and/or affected by the sex trade. These include judges, police, the general public and the women involved in prostitution.

Outcomes:

a. Partner institutions and organizations in Angeles City have enhanced capacity to carry out appropriate training programs for judges, police, the general public and women involved in prostitution.

b. Partner institutions and organizations have increased capacity to conduct social research.

c. Linkages between governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions in the Philippines and between the Philippines and Canada are strengthened.

d. The Canadian public is informed of development issues related in the international sex trade.

e. There is internationalization of Canadian partner institutions and promotion of Canadian expertise in education and training.
