WORK EXPERIENCE

National Service for Women (SERNAM, Chile) International Relations Department lawyer (1999-today) Advised in intemational human rights law obligations, drafted national reports for various human rights and other intemational bodies (UN, OAS, MERCOSUR, APEC), facilitated interagency coordination in gender issues, collaborated in the design, planning and supervision of various seminars, publications and training activities, responsable for international delegations.

Chilean Air Force Legal Consultant (1999-2000) Reported on "Human Rights Education in the educational institutions of the Chilean Air Force" (2000) and "The Entry of  Women to the Air Force Academy in 2000: Legal impact and organizational  challenges for the Chilean Air Force" (1999)

Corporación de Asistencia Judicial Santiago Pro bono intern (1996) Legal work intern was responsable for over 90 civil, labor and family law cases, including the first domestic violence cases.

Independent Researcher and trainer
Researched and trained in gender discrimination and human rights issues, focusing in economic and social rights and intemational human rights instruments (Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación, Universidad de Chile, University of Lund, various Chilean govemment agencies, public sector employees organizations and NGOS).
