Melt the butter and the chocolate separately (use a microwave or melt over boiling water).
Add melted chocolate tot he mixture of egg and sugar, then add the almonds, flour and
melted butter.
Beat the egg whites until they are firm (almost making blocks in the mixer).
Carefully add the egg whites to the mixture, try not to break them up too much.
Grease a cake tin and put the mixture in it. Place in oven for 20 minutes.
Check it is cooked by sticking in a skewer, the end can be a little wet it is
still cooked.
When done set aside to cool.
When cool turn it out of the tin.
Serve cold with custard or apricot marmalade.
