Wonder
Valley belongs to the small town of Sanger, CA.
It is
located appr. 30 miles S.E. of Fresno, in the foothills of the
beautiful "Sierra Nevada".
It used
to be the home of the Yokut Indians. The rock
wall
on this property and the indian
rocks
by the river are still proof of that.
Wonder
Valley is with its location of about 800' above sea level 99% free
of the Central Valley fog!!!
The
valley itself is one of the few places where you can still find
free
grazing.
The area is ideal for horse lovers.
In the
winter time it is also home of
2 bald eagles.
Besides the bald eagles, hawks and black tail deer, you can also
see bob cat(very rare), mountain lions, coyotes, squirrels, quail,
dove, and even wild pigs and turkeys.
Wonder
Valley also has a big fishing
pond
that can be used by W.V.
residents
only.
Pine Flat
Lake with it's dam
are only a few minutes away.
In the
spring time be prepared for a couple of months of the most
beautiful
wildflowers.
