Marital status: single Parents: Lane’s father and mother are both high-ranking scientists on the government council. Children: none Pets: none Occupation: Student Education: Training in science, mechanics, technology, basic self-defense, marksmanship, and well rounded in most academic areas. Clothes: Futuristic uniforms and very functional clothing. Goal (publicly proclaimed)- To follow in his parent’s footsteps Obsession (public or private)- to explore the world. Political Affiliation: Becklar as remained publicly neutral, but there is widespread suspicion that the advanced government of Becklar was involved in creating a weapon of mass destruction that Dai Lynn recently unveiled.

Back Story: Lane is young, arrogant and handsome. He’s had everything handed to him his whole life, and his attitude offends the rest of the characters. He has a good heart, however, and his eyes are slowly being opened to his parent’s complicity in acts he can’t condone. He also has a lust for adventure and secretly longs to leave Becklar and see the world.  Although snobby, he is also fascinated by the ‘lower’ cultures outside of his homeland.
