Mount. Wellington

This whole page is about the trip to Mountain Wellington, the highest mountain in Hobart. It was during winter time. It was not snowing but there was quite a lot of snow everywhere. And the wind is very very strong. I could actually 'lean' on the wind. That's the first time I saw snow--I was so so exciting!!! Everything seemed to be so unbelievably stunning! The camera kept on shooting until the whole film was gone. That was a very good experience of cold.
Ok ,hope you enjoy yourself with my photos like I enjoyed myself in the trip.

First and foremost , see the mountain from far away before you go onto it.
Mount. Wellington from Far
Hehe , this is from a postcard lah !

The height is 1270m . 6m lower than "Gunung Ledang" in Johor ,Malaysia . Its temperature is much lower , that day ,it was -3'C ! Otherwise what do you think I dressed like a bloody idiot !
Yeah ! 'V'

The building at the right hand side is for tourists to regain their body heat and there are something to read about the mountain also.
Q..ui...ck..... I...'mmmm..... Fr...eee...z...ing.......

The ground is very slippery as ice has very low friction. The background is Hobart and Derwent River.
Hoooohhhh!

The effect of the sunlight is pretty cool uh !
It's dark ! Oh , I forgot I'm wearing sun-glasses...

See the cloud and my hair and you can imagine how's the wind...
The shape of that piece of snow is nice. Like a new moon.

A very smooth snow wall . Take a photo !
Opps, after that it's not smooth anymore...

The cloud started to transform into fog !
Bu this time I don't feel cold anymore , numb...

Lots of snow .
Cheese ..

That's the playful me ! Played until the jeans was wet . That's really fun !
Climbing up... 'Here I come!'... 'Ohhhoo..'... 'Huh!Arrive safely.'

One of my best friend here . His name is Kok Jer Min , from KL.
Just playing around with snow.

This guy is the organiser of that trip . His name is Ng Shao Kwang ,from KL also . President of Chinese Society '99.
Shao Kwang always try to be 'cool' in every photo.

It's not possible that the whole trip has no girl right ? Her name is Lim Li Peng ,a final year Commerce student .
She has been in Hobart for 3 years but that's her first time on the mountain also ... Alas!

Views from Mount. Wellington. Can you see the bridge?
The bridge is Tasman Bridge.

Got mountains and river(water), Mmmm.... Good FengShui....
I think that is Derwent River.
