I Caught a Big One!!

Now that you are at the oasis, you can get the page. There is only one problem: Big Bertha, the biggest fish on Adventurers Island, ate it! You'll have to catch it.

To start fishing, go to a fishing post and press left SHIFT to sit down. Now you're ready to cast. To cast, first press the left CTRL button. Notice the scale at the bottom right corner of the screen. The arrow will start going up the scale, indicating how much power you have. Press left CTRL again to cast. Make sure you don't have too much or too little power.

You can see the fish in the pond. You can rotate your view using the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys and you can get up to fish from a different spot by pressing left SHIFT.

Once your bait is in the water, you can start reeling in or you can leave it there. To reel in, press and hold the DOWN key. Eventually, a fish will come by and the words "Strike Now!!" will appear on your screen. When this happens, press UP to hook the fish. If you don't, you will lose your bait.

Once you have a fish hooked, start reeling it in with the DOWN arrow key. The scale on the bottom right corner now measures the line tension. When you reel in, the arrow goes up. When you are not reeling in, the arrow will go down. Try to keep the arrow in the yellow zone. If it goes to far up or too far down you will lose your bait.

You only have 20 baits so make sure you don't lose them all! You can see how many baits you have left at the top left corner of the screen.

When you catch a fish, you get points based on how much it weighs. You can see how many fish you have caught at the top right corner of the screen.

Once you catch Big Bertha, the big fish, you will win the Fishing game and get the page.
