Hi there cheries. I LOVE THE POLAR EXPRESS. wish a lovely mystical train like the Polar Express would come and whisk me off to a faraway magical land. Haha. I'm watching it for the second time today, after watching it once with the rest of the Tribunists ((: The music is absolutely lovely (and sufficiently adorable too) I bet Liqi hasn't watched it yet. Poor little Liqi at Training camp. Laughs evilly. Okay. I shall not be vindictive and malicious. Lalalala. Polar Express is nice. Full stop.

When is Phantom of the Opera opening in Singapore...sigh, i wish it would open this December, but of course c'est impossible. Nevermind. I have lapsed into vague impossibility of saying anything sane or sensible now. Au revoir.

Music of the Night Lyrics, from Phantom of the Opera

Night-time sharpens, heightens each sensation . . .
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination . . .
Silently the senses abandon their defences . . .

Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendour . . .
Grasp it, sense it - tremulous and tender . . .
Turn your face away from the garish light of day,
Turn your thoughts away from cold, unfeeling light -
and listen to the music of the night . . .

Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams!
Purge your thoughts of the life you knew before!
Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar!
And you'll live as you've never lived before . . .

Softly, deftly, music shall surround you . . .
Feel it, hear it, closing in around you . . .
Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind,
in this darkness which you know you cannot fight -
the darkness of the music of the night . . .

Let your mind start a journey through a strange new world!
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before!
Let your soul take you where you long to be!
Only then can you belong to me . . .

Floating, falling, sweet intoxication!
Touch me, trust me, savour each sensation!
Let the dream begin,
let your darker side give in
to the power of the music that I write -
the power of the music of the night . . .

Lalala. I'm back from class chalet. I'm going to say it: CLASS CHALET WAS SO COMPLETELY AMAZING. IT ROCKED.

Like, totally. The barbecue was amazingly cheerily fun. Oh, and Liqi has dangly big star-shaped earrings. Haha. There was lots of otah [half cooked ones not withstanding], chicken and satay. OH AND FLUFFY DECLICIOUS SOFT MARSHMALLOWS! And singing around the babecue pit is funnnnn. Or rather, singing Sound of Music stuff in chronological order and spontaneously launching into Do You Hear The People Sing...whee. And the night-long bridge games were fun, and Addy's daft game shithead that goes on for like half an hour without stopping. oh goodness. and the mahjong too. it was pretty amusing for a while then it got boring. haha sorry Lianne I still don't see what's so addictive about it ((: OH AND THE BEACH. I just love all beaches [including those really drab horrid dirty ones as long as i don't have to swim in it]. The view from the 2nd storey of the chalet is gorgeous. Since everyone [well, pretty much] who stayed didn't sleep all night long, we kind of watched daft soccer matches and heated up barbecued chicken and called Von in the morning to get chocolate ((: [thanks dearie, you totally made my day] haha. And the second day was, well...sleepy. Nicole, Lianne, Alexis, Simin, Eliz and I went off the see the sunrise [what sunrise] and happily trotted off at 6.30 am...and returned and slacked off the whole morning. after that went Changi Village for brunch...ladeedum. And obviously yours truly was starving, no surprise ((: Oh, adn watched SESAME STREET on tv later when they were featuring the letter "G" ...dots. and the scavenger hunt was totally lame but hilarious...i mean, like name cards? pads? bizzare. OH AND THE RETARDED AMAZING RACE. ahaha. Not to meantion charades, grins evilly, why couldn't they have put Hitler in the list of people. Ahwells.

I'M GONNA MISS 209 SO MUCH. I'M GONNA MISS THE NICE PEOPLE SO SO SO MUCH. waaaah. 209 rocked while it lasted, and it still will...OH CHECK OUT NEW CLASS BLOG AND CHECK YOUR EMAILS [including junk mail] I SENT YOU PEOPLE THE PASSWORD AND USERNAME. Whee. Love you people lots. J'aime becaucoup 209. Au revoir ((:

You know, I love Christmas. I really do. As in, I really, really do. I even love the silly and frolicky Christmas carols over the loudspeakers in shopping malls and the crass commercialization of it, I really do. I don't know why, but when you twirl theough Metro singing along to some carol or other, and when you waltz down the pet food aisle of Cold Storage singing aloud to "It's beginning to look A lot like Christmas", and you don't really are if they think you're nuts and all that, because you are just delighting and embracing the joy that the festive season brings. Somehow, dancing through NTUC Fairprice attracts quite a few concerned stared, but that it's not the point, because we all love Christmas, don't we?

It's odd. Christmas puts a spring and a bounce in your step. It makes you smile more often than usual. Never mind the fact that it's still a month away. It has the power to make you smile and sing more brightly than usual. And it makes you feel particularly silly and loved. I admit it. I'm a sufferer of the I Love Christmas syndrome. I think Christmas is marvellous. It's not just the presents, it's the whole spirit. It's the whole putting a smile on the face of others ting, and it feels enormously warm and fuzzy. And there's the nice Christmas carolling, and the Midnight Mass (which i WILL attend this year. I WILL.) etc. Ahwells.

Yes, just nearly a month more to go. Au revoir!

Have been spending my afternoon reading The Three Musketeers by the very talented and skilful storyteller Alexandre Dumas, whose books are indeed absolute gems. I managed to pick up a copy at the library this morning, and I was immensely delighted. Actually, I wasn't all that interested in The Three Musketeers, and pretty much preferred The Count of Monte Cristo, but incidentally couldn't find the book. And therefore settled for the next best by A. Dumas. Ahwells. Next on my reading list are Tales of Hoffman, Memnoch the Devil (yes, i'm reading the Vampire Chronicles from backwards, evil laugh) and The Simillarion, even though it looks particularly long and dreary. Haha.

Anyway, was reading the papers and saw the news about the reforming of chinese syllabus. I think it's a drastic move, a TRES bad move masked under false promise of it being good and beneficial. I think there's really no point. Thnik of the poor, unwillling souls slogging through a hard syallbus now. But as I am always a nice person (ahem) and willing to think on behalf of other generations of poor souls under this harsh Administration, I must say that there is NO POINT AT ALL. A prime example is one of a person who spends inexhaustible time on Chinese, and still NOT do well in it. Where is the logic in that? The fact that the Govt does not factor in people with linguistic difficulties (or are hapy learning English alone - how I cannot figure out) BUT ANYWAY I DIGRESS, and the point is if we are to be a global nation, we ought to have more leeway in choosing whether we are to take Chinese or not.

I am not slamming it simply cos I totally flunked Chinese. I am saying so cos it is purely impractcal. If the Govt feels that it is so important for us to be fluent in Chinese due to economic practicalities in China, I feel we are greatly misguided. In that case, why not have a specialized Chinese school? Is that even feasible? Since no, there is no point in forcing us to learn a language if a child is having great difficulties in figuring out how to write, or to memorize words. It is quite simply pointless, and our mental faculties can be better used for memorizing particularly disturbing scientific facts or math formulas, which are more practical. If I seem to be speaking much on who useful or practical it is, I will ask the detractors, Do you not pick your subject combination yourself for practicality? Why do you take Triple Sc? Isn't it because it's practical? Well, you see my point.

The Govt also puts forth another point of view that studying Chinese makes us more fillial, enables us to be altruistic, etc etc etc, and also that studtying Chinese makes us understand the great traditions of the Chinese, for example carrying on the family name etc. I have nothing against being fillial and thrifty, etc, but carrying on family name? Oh look. We're elbowing into Geog now. Shock horror, another perspective is that carrying on the family name = solve population problem, doesn't it? Oh dear. If this is the point, why are people in mainland China as in, the urbanites) refusing to give birth to kids too? Gee, so Singaporeans will? I'm really amused at this.

Okay, enough ranting. I don't even know why I'm so worked up over this. Never mind. Au revoir.

Am slightly bored, and do not feel like working on Chronicles, and do not feel like doing any musing or thinking. Basically, am in a state of semi-boredom and idiocy. Shall do bizzare and odd quizzes.

You Are a New School Democrat

You like partying and politics - and are likely to be young and affluent. You're less religious, traditional, and uptight than most Democrats. Smoking pot, homosexuality, and gambling are all okay in your book. You prefer that the government help people take care of themselves.
What political persuasion are you?

Eeeep. Geocities is drivng me mad with its large white pop-up at the side of the page. May be relocating soon due to presence of large white thing.

I've got a LYFE meeting in two hours and fifteen minutes' time. Yayness, I love Lower Pierce. I know I must have been there more times this year that some people have gone in their entire lives, but it is such a splenderous and gorgeous place. As far as scenery in Singapore goes, that is. I really really REALLY wouldn't mind living at somewhere like Lake Victoria in Canada, or up in the snowcapped Alps or something. It's the weather, darling. Haha.

Oh I like the Miss Saigon soundtrack! Especially This Is The Hour. And Lea Salonga was in the original version of Miss Saigon too. Interesting. It's really quite odd how she gets all the sad roles. Ah wells. Have to eat brunch now. Au revoir!

Went school. Took report book file thingy whatchamacallit. Heh. Did pretty badly. Must be the French grades. MEANS STUDY FRENCH. INTENSIVE. I wonder how much French tuition at Alliance Francaise costs (: I really wouldn't mind extra French classes, you know. So it can stop pulling my overall grade down and I can continue taking French and ma mere will stop trying to get me to quit French [Horrors!] Sigh. Never mind. Shall go get the textbook early and start on learning the ______ tense thet we will learn next year. Francais has an alarmingly large number of tenses for a language that sounds so gorgeous when the natives speak it. [And they actually remember the tenses, horror. Whatever.]

Then had a short little Tribune meeting and we kind of were très très efficient and finished an hour ahead of time (: So rushed off to join Von and watched Ladder 49 even though I suspect Von didn't know I was there till the movie ended, haha. I'm very amused, obviously. The movie was super sad. It was touching and emotionally charged, and it had so many flashbacks I'm beginning to see why my stories never make sense. Grins evilly. The movie was so sad that I was practically sniffing and sobing my eyes out throughout it. Thank goodness the whole row was empty and I didn't bother anyone during the film. Grins. And when the film ended, Von turned around, saw me, and began laughing her head off. Gee, I never knew I was that funny on first sight yeahs. But I supposed it might have pretty amusing. Vaguely. Oh dear. Ignore me, obviously, because yours truly has started making little sense.

We had Netball Carn today (: WELL DONE 209, GREAT MAJOR IMPROVEMENT FROM LAST YEAR! Yay. I'm so proud of our class. I love our class. Basically, we tied with a lot of classes, and won some, lost some. At least we were not second last again, which is good. I think there's a lot more class spirit this year (: Don't you just adore our class. Simply marvellous. Despite the fact that we did not perform superbly like 207, which was just simply plain scary, we did pretty well as compared to last year, and there's always space for improvement, and we did it! YAY I LOVE 209. It's sad that we're splitting up soon. Never thought I'd be so upset or so attached to our class, but I am. We had lots of fun. And we gave Liqi her pig, which she very soon got very attached to. Heh. I'm sure the little darling is very touched (:

Later on went for lunch at Pizza Hut with Char, Lianne and Von. Kind of got VERYVERYVERY broke cos we didn't read the fine print so we thought we had a discount then ended up shelling out all our money to pay. Quite pathetic actually. Ahwells. And we wrote down the top funnest, most memorable moments of 209 on a Pizza Hut napkin, whic I kept. And sprinkled liberal amounts of cheese powder on pizza. Fun, fun. Oh man, I'm a sadist. And a cheese-killer, grins evilly.

Then on the MRT, I was stitting next to these little three-year old French kids, and they were jabbering away SO PRO-FIEDLY in French and all I caught was something like "comment", "trois jours" and "demain". Sigh. Obviously they don't speak Listening Compre French, like duh. And I realised the dreadful state of my french, which i obviously have to brush up. That means revision. Anyway got go go. Dinner. Bye. I mean, au revoir.

OH BTW MY FRENCH CLASS NEXT YEAR IS F3B. AND TEACHER IS MADEMOISELLE NG. MONSIEUR QUENOT'S GIRLFRIEND. *laughs evilly*

This morning, when I got to school, Lianne, Rebecca and I had a highly interesting conversation.

Rebecca: Why Bush?
Lianne: Why Bush? [sigh]
Mary: WHY Bush? [sighs too]
Rebecca: WHY Bush?
[Von laughs evilly in background]
Rebecca: That means...four more years of Michael Moore bestsellers...
Rebecca, Lianne and Mary: WHY Bush?

Yes, you get the drift. WHY BUSH.

03/11/04.
I'M GONNA MISS 209 SO SUPREMELY MUCH.
SNOW CITY WAS FREAKING FUN.
Snow City was this super duper absolutely marvellously amazing bonding thingy for 209. It's really quite sad that we wait till we're going to split for the year before we start bonding. SAD. but we had a lovely time today. The sliding from the top of the snow slide is lovely when you do it was a class. It's really amazing how enthusiastic we acutally became for a while. It's like, we were transformed into little kids all of a sudden, but it was just plain delightful. AND it was freezing. Absolutely delightful, as I mentioned. Lovely -5.1 degrees celcius (: Stole one glove off King Yan when it got way too cold. And stuffed handfuls of ice down Alicia's shirt, and hurled snowballs (these minute ones) at people. Ahwells. Oh did we mention someone was dressed like a tour guide? Not te ideal career choice, I'd say. But anyway it was fun. 209 ROCKS. Yay. Me loves you people.

OH BY THE WAY BUSH IS LEADING AND GONNA WIN THE ELECTION. Sheesh. I cring and feel VERY sorry for the Afghanistans, Iraqis and other people who Bush plans to terrorize. What actually happened to the weapons of mass destruction? I assume Saddam Hussein ate them? No. Therefore, rather implausible to wage war on a poor nation revaged by a dictator already. It is obvious to anyone that the only reason why the invasion was carried out was for vengeance, and to get rid of Saddam (actually, that was a pretty good reason, but the point is it kills more people than necessary, look at the atomic bombs they used in the past, etc etc etc) And furthermore, don't you think one term of Bush is pretty enough, after all, we DO read the papers, and it is disconcerting to see his face staring (smirking, fidgeting, etc) out of the papers every day (or nearly). As global citizens, we ought to be mindful that everything we do has an impact on the world. As Straits Times is a family newspaper, we ought not traumatize kids at such a young age, which leads to disturbed adults who are claustrophobic, schizophrenic, have MPD, etc...Therefore, I shall round off with this short quote.. BUSH/CHENEY - FO[u]R MORE WARS

au revoir citoyens.

02/11/04.
Hi there. Here's a lovely recount (account, actually) of the past two days.

monday
After an agonizing morning comprising bizzare things such as a talk on sharks, which was actually very good, and a talk on herbs by Osama's body double (OMG, someone alert Bush!!), except a hundred times less interesting, Lianne and I decided we really needed FOOD. (BTW, the herb talk was utter rubbish because nobody was listening, and I was writing, and basically everyone was listening to the person reiterating his points for the nth time) So after the painful morning of listening to talks and them going out through the other ear, Lianne and I went to Yoshinoya for lunch. AND brownies at Takashimaya basement (: Those brownies are heavenly, sinful and just plain delicious. I realise the reason why you ought to read my blog about food is cos when I write about food, I do NOT follow up with a whine/rant/squeal about the amount of calories I have ingested. HEH HEH HEH.

tuesday, i.e. today
Went Tea Chapter for ANOTHER agonising post-exam activity. Chinese Cultural thingy, whatchamacallit anyway. So went there and crossed an extraordinarily large number of roads to reach Tea Chapter and learnt how to make tea. That was the boring part. The interesting part is coming. Soon. So we were munching happily on our tea eggs and yummyyummyyummy cream puffs when the teapot just exploded on itself, like, totally spontaneous combustion!! HA HA HA. and obviously we had to pay for the exploded teapot, which actually exploded into just...well, three pieces. It was actually in a very good condition for a thing that just exploded, you know.

OH TODAY'S THE US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS. Actually, it's like midnight over there. kerry/edwards! No, i didn't say anything. WHAT LAH. WHY ARE YOU STARING AT ME LIKE THAT. SHOO! Au revoir, citoyens!

31/10/04.
Would you read a book titled Chronicles of a La-La Land Chocoholic? Well, I hope you would.

30/10/04.
Lots of interesting things happened yesterday. Firstly, getting back exam marks. Secondly, the whole food session. Thirdly, Drama Night. See, I have THREE points and I am going to PARAGRAPH MY POINTS and write a CONCLUSION later on (:

Getting back exam marks was obviously nerve-wracking. It's plain evil, making us shiver and shudder and wriggle in barely-concealed fear, or smugness in the case of people who KNOW they've aced stuff, or for people like me, whine through the whole thing (sorry Von, WT and whoever I was whining to and poking) Heh. That makes me sound evil. Anyway, skipped out halfway to get chocolate. I really couldn't stand the anticipation and all that. (what anticipation?) Oh then when hey gave us the break to go down and get food and stuff, Liqi bought a Milky Bar, except she kind of told the stall auntie "One Sprite and a Milky Bra" and we were all rolling with laughter. Oh, and eventually I obviously flunked everything, blahdeedum, because I KNEW I was going to fail anyway. Whoop.

Later on, the drpressed bunch of us (Lianne, Rachel and I) went out to eat. Bought yummy Italian ice cream in dark chocolate, tiramisu and mint chocolate to share. It was HEAVENLY. By the way, if you're interested, it's at the Takashimaya basement (: Then we decided, we ABSOLUTELY had to get the DELICIOUS chewy and fudgy brownies. (And so we did.) Later on, we went to Kino, where we kind of lost Rachel. Found the nonadbridged Les Mis for fifteen dollars. Yes, I'm on a quest to get the cheapest copy I can find around here. And a lovely French copy of King Arthur...lovely. I could actually read it...being a five-year-old kiddy version. Heh. AND found this LOVELY Les Mis in Concert scores!!! the one that has Little People, Look Down, What Have I Done and Red and Black!!!!! AND the Miss Saigon score. Goodness, I'm going back one day to get it. Then when Von showed up, we went for DINNER. Yes, to eat again. Heh. Had some disgustingly ketchuped thing with oddly-coloured noodles. Looked VERY suspicious.

Drama Night was glorious. The 109 performance should have won. It was absolutely splenderous - and Flora is so evil. Good for you girl. You rocked (: Oh and 113 won overall for sec one. Sniff. Theirs was okay, but it was SO LONG and SO DREARY. Besides, they sang way too much. Not that I have anything against it or what, but it was simply too long and had too many endings. Like JUST when you thought it had ended....there we go again~ 111 was really cute. Abby was very funny. I mean, she can act bimbo. Really. Nicole Ang went around during intermissions saying "I'm a heart!". Oh, and I gave her a hug. Cos I'm nice, heh. Sec Two stuff was kinda ok. I loved the 211 prformance. It was really very funny. And very adorable. 205 was like DUH they would win, they are like this super enthu and super bonded and super nuts class...Sigh. I was just really disappointed that our class didn't get in cos we were quite funny as far as performances go, and we actually sing reasonably okay. Sigh.

One more week of 209. Sigh. I'll miss the class. Au revoir, citoyens.

27/10/04.
Bonjour, citoyens!

Drama Night Preliminaries were bad. Tres, tres, tres bad. Basically, our rehearsals were better than the original, so you can see in what HORRENDOUS state our actual thing was, due to the fact that our rehearsals weren't that splenderous anyway. And obviously, we did not get in. What a wonderful life. *sarcasm intended* There goes our lastlastLAST chance at Drama Night. Ah wells. we are doomed to stay the audience, aren't we. Have fun on Friday night.

Brotherhood of the Wolves was a pretty good eighteenth-century period drama, set in France. (duh, it's a French film) It's about the beast of Gevaudan which roams the countryside, and it kills only mostly women and children, but nobody knows what it is. The King senss people down to Gervadan to kill the beast, and this large hunt follows. It's pretty gory in some scenes (well duh, it's pretty Hollywoodish), but it's rather a beautiful film too. And I don't just mean the scenery. Mostly because you get to see the contrast of the sane (Gregoire de Fronsac, who's here to kill the beast, Thomas d'Apcher who's his little sidekick and an aristocrat...) and the insane (the treacherous and insane priest Sardis, Jean-Francois the nutcase son of the Count who's in love with his sister...) which obviously, makes the whole plot very intersting. It has a LOT of flashback and a LOT of misleading characters. Which can either be very confusing or very bad, but I reckon it's quite a rewatchable movie. It seems very LOTR-ish in terms of music though, I distinctly recall hearing something like that once...

Anyway, au revoir.

25/10/04. night.
WTF. I just SCREWED UP my FRENCH EXAM for the SECOND TIME. blearghblearghBLEARGH. What am i going to DO??? (Like duh Mary, perhaps you could try not mugging only 2 weeks before EOYs) I am in a state of despair and great torment - one, they may not let me take French, they being the parental powers. Two, MOELC may decide that my French is torturous to outside listeners so they won't let me go to France (oh, the agony!) Three, failing French traumatizes and simply creates morale as low as the Brit army during WWII in Singapore, bleargh. That is obviously veryveryVERY bad.

Crap.

Au revoir, citoyens.

25/10/04
This is hilarious. We had D-night practice today, and our script ROCKS! yay! anyway, most of the time was spent playing monkey with the class netball, and/or singing very exuberantly to N'sync or BSB songs. We did have four successful and lovely rehearsals. I suspect we will rock the judges. We make wonderfully nice musical thingies. It is, obviously, dreadfully fun.

Just finished reading the biography of Magda Goebbels. I think she's rather interesting to read about. (Despite her affairs with like all those Hitler's top officials people) Currently, Von is packing. Nicole, Nat, Addy, Alicia, Vinithra and Shakira are playing monkey (still!). Quite amusing really.

Ack. Gotta go french now. Yay. J'aime Francais! Au revoir, citoyens!

24/10/04
EEP.

I have just realised that we have only, say, SIX days to Drama Night. Oh dear. That is indeed traumatizing, when there's just SO MUCH to do. *flies into a tizzy and flaps arms in barely-concealed horror* And I am ill. This is bad. C'est tres, tres, tres mauvais. The script, I am afraid, is still in stages of non-completion, and the Grand High Inquisitor Peh Liqi wants to lengthen it. LENGTHEN it? Horror, it's long enough. Like, a quarter of the script is, after all, a song thing, which should be rather fun. *laughs evilly* Any takers for helping me lengthen it?

Anyway, does anyone know what nice movies are opening around, say, 16th November? Let's see. Alexander, The Incredibles, Shark Tale, Princess Diaries 2...goodness, none are really quite suitable for a Tribune outing, are they? I mean, I honestly cannot imagine, for the love of anything in the world, us watching Shark Tale. Not that it's not cute, the trailer is perfectly adorable, but the plot is rather daft, if you get my drift. Never mind. I think I'd rather watch Shark Tale than, say, Princess Diaries 2, even though the first one was perfectly fine. And that is entirely because they did not follow the storyline in the book, which I thought was perfectly fine too. Ah wells.

I just had a nice thought, though. It would be spectacular Spectacular if they could musical-ize LOTR. In that case, we would be able to hear all the songs and poems from the books up on stage, and it would just be plain interesting, except obviously Tolkien did not put a "How to Sing" guide to any of the songs, not even the adorable hobbit ones. Okay. Irrelevant. But I think the elven ones would turn out just plain lovely, because, well, they are supposed to be beautiful. Oh dear. I am simply just crapping and talking about random, irrelevant things.

Au revoir, citoyens.

23/10/04
Must edit the 209 Drama night script. Oh good people of 209, the fate and reputation of our glorious class hinges on this (well, and Netball Carnival), so we shall charge on with verve, spirit, bite and throw our heart and soul into this (well, for now, before we get bored of it)! Yayness. I am very looking forward to Drama night. After all, it IS the last time we get to take part, or for that matter, even to watch the performances.

Oh, by the way, bored people can visit 91 Cashew Road, courtesy of being one of the latest touist attractions in town.

22/10/04
Yay. The exams are over, and the good people of our school are FINALLY liberated! Whee. It feels SO GOOD to be not mugging. The past weeks have been utterly traumatic and disastrous >.< Not to mention that History, Lit and Geog papers have been disgustingly difficult, and that it's just been utterly dreadful and a complete mess. But it's all over, so rejoice, citoyens!

Went shopping for liqi's birthday pressie after exams with (in register order) Lianne, Char, Von, WT and Caroline. some serious shopping for useless and pig-related things, which was really quite fun and (considerably) waste-of-moneyish. I'm just so suitably compelled to get chocolate, you know what I mean.

Watched Sky Captain with them after lunch. Fun. It was simply such a dreadfully sweet and lovely film. Oh, and did I mention Jude Law is so gorgeously cute? *squeals* Oh, and that we ended up pilfering Caroline's popcorn. It's surprising we can still eat popcorn after that TRAUMATIC and DISGUSTINGLY USELESS math perf task. I mean, rectangular, cuboid-shaped popcorn holders work JUST FINE with me, not like Nat's dunno what popcorn holder. Oh and Lianne spilled Coke all over me, but it dried out, so that's just perfectly fine too. Well, it wasnt' EXACTLY at that point of time when we were FREEZING, but it's not exactly horrifying.

After we'd finished the movie, we went back to meet Char, who had by then finished her doctor's appointment, so we went to Carrefour and shopped for more components of Liqi's present. It was stupendously fun, obviously. It brings out the inner shopaholic in you (: Funnn. We ought to to this more often. Next time, we shall proceed clothes-shopping. I have decided I need some new clothes, like, before the year ends. Yay.

But I'm not picky about that now, what matters is that we are free! Liberte, egalite et fraternite!
