When the group went back to the hotel, they didn't lost time to go in their own room. Lance walked behind JC awkwardly, waiting for him to talk. JC had been ignoring him since the kiss and Lance wanted to talk about it. But JC was distant, avoiding the young blond. Once in the room, JC locked himself in the bathroom leaving Lance alone.
After one hour, Lance gave up and went to bed. It was getting late and he was exhausted. He wrapped the sheets around him and closed his eyes. But sleep didn't come.
Thirty minutes later, he heard the bathroom door opening and JC walking to his bed. Lance didn't move and kept his breathing slow. He felt JC's eyes on him and wondered what was going in his older friend's mind. JC let out a frustrated sigh and let himself fall on the bed, not bothering to go under the covers.
The next morning, Lance woke up at the sound of JC pacing around the room.
" Aren't you supposed to be the sleepy one?" Lance asked, burring his head in the pillow.
" We need to talk." JC said sternly. Lance groaned and got out of the bed. He ignored JC's furious glare and went in the bathroom, splashing water on his face. " I want to know what yesterday was all about." JC said, waiting for an explanation.
" I think it was what we call a kiss JC." Lance called from the bathroom, drying his face with a towel.
" You're gay?" JC stated more than he asked.
" Yeah. Got a problem with that?" Lance replied flatly, not in the mood for that.
" You used me. All this…you had it all planned." JC said, sounding hurt and frustrated.
" Oh yeah. I'm an evil bastard. Grrrr." Lance said sarcastically, the beginning of a headache appearing. " Look JC. I'm really not in the mood right now."
" You tricked my mind!" JC hissed causing Lance to turn to him and glare.
" Let me get this straight JC. You called the shots. It was your idea; you called me Lancey poo and Baby. You came with all the ideas. And remember, you're the one who kissed me yesterday so don't blame me."
With that, Lance grabbed his wallet and walked out of the room. He needed to sort his own thoughts before talking with JC. He wasn't sure about his feelings. He had spent months convincing himself he didn't love JC that way. But the last few days had proven him wrong and he hated to admit it to himself.
" You make me sick. I want you and I'm hating it." He sang softly to himself, remembering Pink's song. He slowly made his way to Joey's room and knocked quietly. It took a few minutes before Joey opened the door, sleep still present in his eyes. " Hey Joe. Can I come in? Please?"
Joey eyed him and step aside, letting Lance walk in the room. " What's wrong buddy?" He asked, rubbing the sleep away with his hands.
" JC kissed me yesterday." Lance said simply.
" And it's a bad thing because…" Joey said, not seeing what was wrong with that.
" Joey! I thought you knew!" Lance exclaimed, frustrated.
" Knew what? You and JC are together. I don't see why it's so surprising he kissed you. Sorry. Usually it's what too people in love do."
" You told me you knew." Lance said shyly. " JC and I aren't together. It was only a game. You…you called me and told me…" he said, confused.
" Well, I knew you weren't having sex yet. That's why." Joey said, stopping to think. " You mean you guys didn't hook up few days ago?"
" No." Lance said, sitting on the bed.
" Oh. I'm sorry." Joey said, sitting beside him and rubbing his back softly.
" And now he blames me. He thinks I tricked his mind. It's the last thing I wanted. I…I think I love him. I think I'm in love with him." Lance said sadly. It wasn't how he had supposed to fall in love. He wanted to be happy when he'd finally be in love and now he wasn't.
" Okay…" Joey trailed, searching for a solution. " Tonight we're gonna go out okay? It's gonna change your mind."
Lance nodded slowly and closed his eyes.

Later this day, Lance left the hotel for a couple of hours, claming his need to be alone. Joey took this opportunity to talk with JC. There was love there and he would prove it. Even if JC didn't know, he would have to admit it to himself. It was a determinate Joey who knocked at JC's door.
" What?" JC asked, opening the door, obviously not up for any visitors.
" We need to talk." Joey said, pushing his way into the room. JC sighed and closed the door.
" What do you want?"
" Tell me JC, why do you have a beard?" Joey asked, cutting right to the subject.
" I don't…" JC said before being interrupted by Joey.
" You do JC. I know you and Bobbie aren't really together. The only reason you'd get one is because you're gay and obviously, you don't even know you are."
" I'm not gay." JC said, anger starting to rise inside of me.
" Oh so you led Lance on for the last few days?" Joey said, keeping his voice calm and low.
" No! I didn't. He did." JC almost shouted.
" Tell me, was it that hard to be around him all the times? Was it that hard to do all this stuff you did? Didn't you enjoyed the kiss yesterday?" Joey asked as he saw JC softening slowly.
" I…it was a game." He whispered.
" Yeah. A game. Maybe you should look past that and ask yourself if you were really playing. Lance wasn't and he's heartbroken now." Joey said as he stood up. He didn't know what else he could say to JC. He had never been good at playing matchmaker but maybe he could give JC something to think about. " I'll see you later."

" Where are you going?" Chris asked as he saw Joey and Lance walking out of their room all dressed up.
" Out. Night in the clubs. Poofoo here needs to change his mind." Joey said cheerfully. Lance only smiled weakly and avoided eyes contact. " We're gonna find him a hot date tonight." Joey continued as he pushed Lance toward the elevator.
Chris nodded and waved with his hand, wondering if he had dreamed all the JC/Lance things. He shrugged and went into his and Justin's room. He wasn't surprised to see JC there, almost sleeping on the bed while Justin was playing a video game.
" Hey guys!" He said, as he sat on the floor beside Justin.
" Hey." Justin replied distractedly, concentrated on his game. But he did notice they were only three in the room. " Where's Lance and Joey?" JC didn't move from his spot on the bed, trying to ignore everything around him.
" Went out. Said Lance needed a hot date tonight."
" What?" JC asked, sitting up on the bed and looking at Chris as if he had grown a second head.
" They're going to a club. Something about Lance needing to change his mind." Chris said, not noticing his friend's surprise.
" Shit!" JC nearly yelled. He stood up and flew out of the room as fast as he could.

JC searched in the crowd, hoping to find them. It was the fourth club he was in and he hadn't seen any trace of Lance or Joey yet. He sighed and almost gave up when he saw Joey walking out of the bathroom. He hurried to him and put his hand on Joey's shoulder. Joey turned around and didn't hide the surprise on his face when he saw JC.
" Hey Jayce. What are you doing here?" He asked, scanning the crowd nervously.
" Where is he?" JC said, frustrated at the desperation he heard in his own voice.
" Why?"
" I need to talk to him."
Joey looked at him, wondering if he should tell him. Lance was having a great time so far and didn't want to ruin it. By the look on JC's face, he knew he had to tell him. He sighed and pointed Lance who was sitting alone at a table.
" Thank you." JC said, giving him a quick hug and making his way to the table.
He smiled as he reached the table but his smile quickly faded away when he saw another man joining Lance at the table, two drinks in his hands. He handed one to Lance, who smiled gratefully. JC took a deep breath and crossed the little space between him and the table. Lance looked up and immediately avoided JC's gaze as soon as he saw him.
" We need to talk." JC said, looking at the other man. The other man nodded and disappeared quickly.
" I don't want to talk Jayce." Lance said, his eyes on the dance floor.
" Fine." JC snapped. He grabbed Lance chin and turned his head so he was now facing him. Lance looked at him, his eyes confused. JC didn't hesitate and brought his lips to Lance's. He kissed him deeply, forgetting where they were and who they were. Lance answered to kiss against himself before pushing JC away.
" What…what are you doing?" He asked. JC searched into Lance's eyes only to find fear and hope in them.
" We started something Lance. And I don't want to stop. I don't want to stop ever. Today I realised that I wasn't playing. It was never a game Lance. My heart knew what it was doing. My mind just didn't know yet."
Lance smiled softly and sighed in relief. He laughed nervously and shyly avoided JC's eyes. JC reached for him and hugged him tightly.
" Let's get out of here." JC said. He felt Lance nodding against him and he couldn't stop his smile.
Joey, who was standing a few feet's away, smiled. He knew there was love sleeping somewhere between those two.
