Wood duck boxes , woodduck boxes , wood duck box , and wood duck nests. California Waterfowl Association Wood Duck Program has thousands of volunteers make this program work with the cooperation of hundreds of land owners. Each year, volunteers, including myself, manage 400 projects, and hatch out over 35,000 ducklings. To date, this program has successfully hatched out more than 250,000 ducklings in California alone.
ATTENTION SCHOOL TEACHERS! PLEASE GET YOUR CLASS INVOLVED IN THIS PROGRAM. WE CAN ASSIGN EACH STUDENT THEIR OWN WOOD DUCK BOX NEST. TRACK THE ACTIVITIES, AND TAKE THE KIDS OUT ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR TO CHECK THEIR BOXES.THERE ARE PROJECT STATEWIDE AND CLOSE TO YOUR SCHOOL. NESTING STARTS IN FEBRUARY!
