Morning Offering
O
Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers works,
joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
throughout the world. I offer them for the intentions of your Sacred Heart:
the salvaltion of sould, reparation of sinners, and the union of all Christians.
I offer them for the intention of our Bishops, and all the Apostles of prayer,
and in particular for those recomended by our Holy Father this month, and for
our own special intentions. N.
T
his prayer is said at the begining of the day to dedicate everything you do to
God. This follows the common motto of most religious communities of "Ora et
Labora", Pray and Work. It is common to add any of your intentions at the end
of the prayer, thats what the N is for. Not only do you dedicate yourself but
you join every Catholic in the world for its betterment.
