ARTIST INFO: Funky Abattoir |
| Funky Abattoir (not to be confused with the similarly titled grindcore Abba tribute band 'Funky Abbatoir') is a very talented writer of original electronic music. Although he has written in a variety of different styles, an overall feeling of ambient soundscape informs most of his work. It is for this reason that he is becoming known as a writer of music for short films, including his brilliant score for the Woodlark 1 endorsed 'Amynedd Anafus' in 2001. He is also recognised as a remixer and his most widely distributed piece to date was a powerful drum'n'bass remix of Cambridge-band Analyze's single 'Immortal Beloved'. Although live preformances are rare, his ability to utilise a computer well on stage leads to a fascinating show which has impressed audiences greatly in the past.
