DJ Dickory Dock DJ Dickory Dock is a musical chameleon – his musical coat fluid in its transition from one style to another, never settling for too long in the same place. After exploring the outer regions of rock and dance, this teacher of design technology bizarrely arrived at F-Step after hearing some school children singing “4 and 20 Blackbirds” out of sync with each other. He speedily pulled out his sampler, overlaid some F-step beats, and in under half a minute the first nursery rhyme remix was born, as was the biggest school riot this side of Belfast. Dock has since put together a collection of F-step and other works, and though his teaching is now taking up much of his time, he is still renowned for his ability to gain inspiration from everything he sees and hears. Both tuneful and highly original, he is one of Woodlark 1’s hottest new signings.
