DJ Roller

DJ Roller is our specialist in hard, dark, thumping jungle (you know you love it), but his diversity has seen him play 'chill-out' style and more jump-up stuff. If you're after classic, 'purist' mixing, or something a little different (scratched-up, or accompanied by a bit of quality didgeridoo), he can create the set to suit and is a popular choice in the Cambridge area, having played at many local venues, including King's Cellars, John's Boiler Room, Bar Coast, Kambar, Po Na Na's, and others.

Roller was raised on dirty beats and knows only the junglist way of life. He comments "I am inspired by sweaty clubs and dark beats. For me, darkness is the source of light". Significantly DJ Roller is the only Woodlark 1 artist not to venture into the territory of F-step, although he has promised us an F-step remix album soon. For the moment, though, you can enjoy his debut mix offering, 'Electric Night' which can be ordered through our shop.
