1991 Alfa Romeo 164L

SORRY - CAR HAS BEEN SOLD!

A beautiful sports sedan designed by Pininfarina.  A 3.0 liter V6 and 5 speed manual transmission power it down the highway.  It has been upgraded with "S" wheels, tasteful light tint and a great sounding Alpine CD/MP3 system with a amplified subwoofer.  No accidents or bodywork, and maintenance records from new.  Serviced for most of its life at Ferarri of Seattle and Alfa in Bellevue.

This 164 is in generally good mechanical condition.  It has a new clutch and a quality used transmission put in at the same time.  The issues that I want to mention:  The air mixing stepper motor is stuck on heat.  Not generally a problem in cool Seattle.  The brake pads are getting low.  There is slight wear on front seats and armrest, but rear seats are like new.  Other than that, it is a solid dependable daily driver with many miles left.  The engine is smooth and strong and has recently been serviced at Ralli Round (alfa specialist) with a new timing belt, waterpump, and engine seal.  Regular oil changes and recent spark plugs, fuel hoses, motor mounts, and thermofan switch.  50% tread on tires.

That beautiful 3.0L V6  :-)

The paint is very good overall, no dings but some small retouched rock chips on front.  Crack in drivers headlamp and fog.  Not major, but thought I'd mention.   "S" Wheels have been repainted silver.  Good shape with Alfa Romeo color center caps.
