So far I know little time has passed
since I have seen you last
But somehow I know more than I would' learned
if we had been the best of lads!
How peculiar it is to be so comfortable
with someone that I barely know.
Yet I feel as though you are the one
who knows me so much!

in more ways than you can count!

when I am with YOU.
A Fascination with YOU is clearly new,
Fascinative YOU
But can I trust YOU
Fascinates me too
Because I know YOU seem so Genuine
A Heart so tender Fascinates Me About YOU
Although we've had our share of past regret
I know that as a friend Our trouble I can forget
At least let's put aside the pain and tenderness
And cherish that we have felt friendship at its best
So much that I can share of heart felt trust
And enough kindness to spare
Don't take friendship for granted
